Race looked at them as if he were the long-suffering father of two unruly children...then forcefully grabbed both their hats and charged full-speed down the street, whooping like a maniac.

"GET 'IM!" he charged after Race.

Mush broke into a sprint, not even thinking about showing mercy.
He caught up with Race easily (come on - Race had to have known that he wouldn't keep away for long), and grabbed his hat back before stealing Race's in turn.

((I swear I've written this scene in an otherwise really bad fic...))
"Blink! Two bits if you switch sides!" Race shouted, charging after Mush. He didn't even notice as the houses on either side of them grew steadily larger and statelier, until he smashed right into a girl in a gorgeous green dress who had been strolling down the street with a couple of friends. They both tumbled to the ground, her dress ruined in an instant, and her parasol went flying. Race scrambled away from her and grabbed a couple newspapers that had fallen out of his bag, offering her one with a sheepish grin. "Uh...buy a pape, miss?"

Blink was on the ground, red in the face from laughter.
"I'm gonna piss myself," he cried, wiping tears from his cheeks.

Mush immediately took his hat off, elbowing Blink in the ribs.
"Lady. Blink. LADY." He hissed out of the side of his mouth. Mush wanted to blush because Blink had just said 'piss' in her presence.

The girl just stared at the three of them at first. Her friends stood over her, gaping in horror. Then she started to chuckle, then giggle, then laugh hysterically.
"Oh, God, this is the most fun I've had all week!" she announced. Her two friends exchanged scandalized looks. The girl struggled to her feet--torn, filthy dress and all--and dug a five-dollar bill out of her purse, and handed it to Race, grabbing a random number of papers from his stack. "I'm Tara Fields! Look me up sometime! We can have another wild adventure!" she laughed. At this point, her friends grabbed her by each arm and dragged her away, still laughing. Race gaped after her, then grinned at Blink and Mush. "See? I'm an advertising genius!"
