Name: Belle Elizabeth Malone
NN (if applicable): Backstage Mouse. Commonly abbreviated as "Stagey," or sometimes "Mouse" (Jack's typical nickname for her).
Age: 16 (as of 1899)
date and place of birth: June 12, 1883; Killarney, Ireland
Personality: Initially afraid of her own shadow in her childhood, Belle grew into her own. She may not be afraid of the dark anymore, but she remains afraid of what others think of her and often afraid of speaking on her own behalf. This leads her to attempt to please everyone which, as many know, leads in pleasing no one. When you first meet Belle, she's soft-spoken, shy, but to those that know her better, she's quietly witty, gentle, intellectual, and might even give her opinion if it's asked of her. She's wary of strangers. Those who are among the backstage mouse's trusted circles find a warm, loyal, honest friend in Belle Malone.
Hobbies and interests: Writing in her journal, reading any books left behind at the theatre, daydreaming, creating costumes, being near those she loves.
Bad habits, criminal record, etc: Hasn't stolen a thing in her life, but she'd be reluctant to rat out any of her friends.
Employment: Costume apprentice at Irving Hall
Background info (please include family as well): Father was John Malone, who died before Belle was born. By the time she was six years old, Belle accompanied her mother Nora to New York in the hopes of beginning a new life. Belle was only orphaned a year later, losing her mother to scarlet fever. With no relatives or friends to speak of, Belle hid backstage at Irving Hall, bundled under a mound of costumes, and was discovered by Jack Kelly, who nicknamed her Backstage Mouse. Her future hopes and dreams remain to be seen.
