Teddy made his way over to the bench and slid next to her, putting his arm across the top of the bench behind her.
"Gorgeous, eh?"

"Yeah," said Adri softly, still in awe. She looked over at him and grinned. "This place is amazing. I'm surprised there aren't more people out here."

"It seems like it's easy to get to, but most people don't even notice the road that leads up here. Too busy, I guess..."
He had been driving around trying to find a new restaurant when he spotted this road. Hoping there might be a nice pizza place, he turned down it only to find this... Which was way better than any restaurant.

"I like it. Even better that not a lot of people know about it," she said, wrapping her arms around her knees. "You come up here a lot?"

"Maybe once a week." He shrugged, sweeping the view. "When I need to think or when I just want some quiet time. If things are crazy at work."

"I don't blame you. It's hard to find time to yourself now and then... especially a place where you can relax," she said, taking in the cool breeze. "I'll try not to bother you if I ever run into you up here."

"Hey, don't worry about it." He definitely would not mind being bothered by Adri. Not at all.
"And besides... What makes you think you can come up here? Just the fact that I brought you here?" He scoffed, shooting Adri a teasing grin.

"Hey!" chuckled Adri, gently poking him in the arm. Not that she could do much harm to him, he was hard as a rock. "Sharing is caring!"

"Yes, I've shared this view with you tonight. Don't be greedy!"
He poked her in the ribs, but not too hard.

Adri laughed, trying to push his hands away but instead stuck her tongue out at him in a playful manner before looking out at the view again.

Teddy smiled to himself, watching her gaze at the view. She looked so happy and adorable. He was ready to ask her out for tomorrow, but he figured that might be jumping the gun a bit.

Content, Adri looked out at the view, still amazed at the scene before her. "I have another question," she asked after a couple of moments, turning to look at him. "What's the first thing you look for in a girl?"

"Well, the first thing I notice is her hair. But what I look for once I meet her is whether or not she eats like a normal person." Which you do.
"If I meet a girl, take her to lunch, and she says 'Oh, I had a huge breakfast, I'm just getting a side salad...' Bullshit. Breakfast was at least four hours ago, I don't care how much you ate, you gotta be starving after four hours with no food!"

Adri laughed, shaking her head at him. "You're crazy," she said, chuckling. "Nah, but I agree. I hate girls that count calories and starve themselves. Just eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full!"
Adri was blessed with amazing genes. Her friends hated her for staying skinny while being able to eat what she wanted. Her fast metabolism and figure that she inherited from her family was something that she sometimes took for granted, working out only when she felt like it.

"It's really not that hard!" Teddy replied, glad she understood what he meant. "You do have to try and eat healthy food, but you can have hamburgers and stuff, too. It's all about portion control."
And, for him, it was about burning as many calories as possible at the gym so he could eat even more...
