Nevada watched Rae leave and was left standing in the bathroom confused. What the fuck had just happened.
Eventually Nevada found her and breathed a sigh of relief, 'Rae....are you...is everything alright?' she asked, resting a hand on her shoulder.
(( that works perfectly for me!!! Little ginger girl!))

Raven shrugged Nevada's hand off of her quickly, she clenched her fists and took a deep breath. She harshly wiped her face.
"Fine, I'm fine." She said. She was always saying she was fine. Fine. fucking fine fine fine fine!
Raven turned around to look at her. "Just too many people...I was hot." She made up a quick excuse, but her eyes betrayed her, they were red, filled with tears, one slipped down her cheek. She hastily wiped it away.

"No I can't, just...forget it. Let's get you a dress okay?" Raven wanted to ignore it. She wanted to just finish with this day and go home. She took Nevada by the arm to lead her off to the dresses.

Nevada did as she was told....not like she had much of a choice considering Rae had dragged her.

Nevadas eyes widened in shock and suddenly she felt horrible for being happy...for being pregnant.
'o my God,' she said breathlessly, 'Rae....I'm....I'm so sorry.' she said, placing a hand on her forearm. 'we--we don't have to do this today....I feel horrible!'

"See I knew you'd say that..." Raven sighed. "It's really fucking hard right now, but can I pretend to be normal just for today? Let's get you a pretty dress and I'll get a new pair of ugly black shoes and we'll get on the trolley and go back to Brooklyn okay?"

Nevada looked down and began nervously twirling her engagement ring around her finger again.
'ya...okay.' Nevada said softly before heading back inside Macy's. Focus on finding a dress Nevada....don't give her looks of sympathy...they do no one good, Nevada told herself as she made her way towards the wedding dresses.

Raven sighed and followed her, "Nevada..." Now she felt even worse than she'd been feeling all day.
Raven jogged over to her. "I'm sorry okay? I guess I just feel like it should be me puking in a garbage can in the middle of Macy's..." She whispered, "Just because I'm all fucked up doesn't mean life doesn't go on...so I have to get over it."

Nevada understood what she was saying. 'we didn't plan for this I promise!' she said, trying to lighten the mood.
Nevada wasn't much for affectionate gestures but she reached and gave Rae a quick hug, 'I am sorry,' she said looking into her eyes.
'I think right now I'm more scared than anything,' Nevada admitted, 'I mean you've been with Spot for years-you know he'd marry you with or without a baby....sometimes I'm scared he's only marrying me because I'm pregnant.' Nevada admitted

Raven started crying again when Nevada hugged her and then she laughed. "OH please, Tristan is madly in love with you! He's a one woman man now, that was no easy feat Nevada." She wiped at her eyes.
"And I know...oh believe me I know now...but me and Spot aren't exactly a hundred percent either." Raven admitted, "I...I won't let him...we haven't had sex since that day."
(I'm assuming this is months later))

'I am glad he's a one woman man,' Nevada admitted, 'it would kill me if he wasn't.' she said with a smile, reaching to wipe a stray tear away with her thumb.
'and hey...I'm sure Spot loves you sex or no sex...and I'm sure his hand is enjoying the extra attention,' she joked. 'no one could expect you to want to have sex immediately after what you went through.....and when you ARE ready im sure all of new York will hear you orgasm,' she giggled.

Nevada wasnt going to press again-though she knew everything would be fine between her and Spot.
'Well.....I WOULD say white but honestly I feel wearing a white dress to get married in my....condition will get me struck by lightning.' she joked. 'Blue is a nice color,' she said offhandedly
