"Sky blue?" Raven said with a smile, "You'll look so pretty." She took her hand and wandered off to the pastel dresses, she knew every inch of this store.

Nevada followed her to the dresses and stood staring in amazement at all the different colors. 'honestly Rae I didn't know there could be this many shades of just one color!' she said as she reached to touch a dress that caught her eye.
'I'm glad were getting married quick so I don't have to be fat at my wedding,' Nevada said with a laugh

"That one's beautiful," Raven said with a nod and then she laughed. "You wouldn't be fat you'd be pregnant, there's a difference," Raven tenderly fingered the light blue silk and then sighed. "Well try it on."

'I knooooooow,' Nevada said as she took the dress, 'but I'll FEEL fat!' she said as she put her arm out, miming a pregnant belly.
'I already feel fat! My stomach hasnt even changes--except for it's kind of...hard? Not soft like it used to be.' Nevada shrugged, 'okay I'll try the dress on.' she said heading into the room, 'come with,' she said, motioning with her hand.

Raven followed her into the dressing room and waited for her to emerge in the gown.
She took a seat in one of the chairs and noticed a woman staring at her. She was dressed in dark green gown, silk, with matching gloves and hat, her shoes probably even matched. The woman peered down at Raven.
Rae crossed her arms and glared at her.

Nevada got herself in it-she would definitely need to get a corset with whatever dress she chose. Nevada walked out of the room and saw the lady staring down Rae.
Nevada hated women like her....she shuddered at the realization that she could have been like her. Nevada got the ladies eye contact and put a hand over her stomach, 'most wedding dresses are supposed to be white--symbolizes purity--just didn't seem right, what with me being pregnant,' Nevada said, laughing at the scandalized look on the ladies face.

Raven couldn't help but laugh as the woman ran huffed and scurried off.
"That was brilliant," Raven said. "You look gorgeous." Raven said with a big smile.

'i thrive on controversy,' Nevada said proudly. She walked over to the mirror and looked at herself in it. She did look good. She smoothed out the dress, tightening the fabric over her stomach. 'I'm paranoid I think. There's no way I'd pop out yet.'
She turned to face Rae, 'I really love it.' she admitted.

"You're not gonna pop and if you do then there's something wrong," Raven got up and went over to her. "You need something for you hair, and gloves and then you're done."

'something for my hair like what? A veil?' Nevada asked, she wasn't sure if a veil was appropriate for the dress she was wearing.
'what do you think Tristan will look like all dressed up?' Nevada asked suddenly.

"I prefer hats actually," Raven said casually, "We'll get you one."
Raven waited for her to change and then they went over to the accessories.
"I think Tristan will look extremely handsome." Raven said as she fingered a white lace glove. "How about these?"

Nevada slipped her engagement ring off and tried on the gloves. She was glad they werent too flashy. 'these are fine! To tell the truth im not too in to shopping-im glad you came with me because you seem to be much better at it than me,' Nevada admitted.
She slipped the gloves off and put her engagement ring back on. 'I'm scared I won't be able to keep my hands off him when I see him all dressed up,' Nevada admitted.

"I wouldn't worry about having that reaction," Raven laughed. "I'm actually too good at it. I love all this stuff...so I at least once a week I used to come and just look at everything. That's pathetic right? Dreaming for things you can't have." Raven smirked at her.

'why would dreaming of good things be pathetic?' Nevada asked as she plopped a ridiculously gaudy hat atop her head.
A lady frowned at them across the way and Nevada made a face at her, 'don't worry, you can't catch poor,' Nevada said with a smirk.

Raven immediately took that hat off her head and replaced it with a subtle matching blue hat with a half veil. "Much better." Raven stood back and admired her work.
"If you can afford them, ivory shoes would look best." Raven said. "And it's pathetic. Me and Spot could never afford these things."
