(( I am dying to play a student/TA thread. If anyone is interested in being Zippy's TA , I'm open to whomever.l ))
It was senior year, and Zippy couldn't believe she was stuck taking this freshman math class. All she had ever wanted was to be an English teacher and to teach kids about the wonders of literature and the benefits of creative writing.
Of course, it had been pretty lucky that she realized that she still needed another math credit in order to graduate in the first place. If she hadn't noticed, she would have been stuck at this university for a whole extra semester, which would have been awful.
Zippy tapped her pencil against her notebook, sighing. She glanced around the room, wondering which of the freshman in this class got drunk off only one drink last weekend, or which ones were in the middle of pledging greek life. She felt so disconnected from them, and it was even harder to focus when the TA teaching her class was so goddamn good looking. She wondered how old he was, and if being a graduate student in math made him actually dull in real life, but she found that hard to believe.

Tristan looked up from the roster and then scanned the room. He was wearing his glasses today because the night before he'd slept in his contacts and now he thought he had an infection...no contacts for awhile. He was also slightly hungover...just a little.
No Math majors, thank fucking God. "Okay so here's the deal. None of you are math majors. I know you're all here because you have to take this class...it will be extremely easy, like reliving freshman year of high school type math. I don't want to make you miserable or stop you from graduating with you degree in Drama or Shakespearian Lit." He smiled as everyone seemed to relax.
"I'm Tristan Shamien, don't call me Mr. Shamien or Mr. Tristan...I had one kid call me T-dog, don't do that either because I will probably get violent, just call me Tristan because everything else makes me feel old."

(( let's just skip all the bullshit and he can take her right there in front of everyone haha. anyway i have a shit ton of ideas this is gonna be fun))
Zippy nearly threw in the flag right then and there. How the hell was she supposed to focus AT ALL?
Discreetly, she took out her cell phone to text her roommate Raven about the hot TA. My TA is so fucking hot, I'm orgasming just looking at him she texted, pray for me

Raven picked up her buzzing phone and looked at the text. "Ha." she laughed out loud and got evil stares from her classmates. Do what you do best, babe. Raven texted back.
Tristan went through a series of complicated math problems, yawning his way through the entire thing. When the class was ending he assigned some homework problems.
As his students were leaving he sat down at the desk, took out a bottle of water and a bottle of advil and promptly downed three pills. He checked his watch. "Shit."

Zip tried to focus during the lesson, but she was shitty at math in the first place. She took detailed notes, but was pretty worried about the homework... and it didn't help that she did NOT want him giving her a bad grade.
That night, Zippy attempted the homework and felt like an idiot, so she decided to go in for office hours the next morning. She was embarrassed by it but didn't have many other options. She woke up earlier than usual to get ready, stopped for Starbucks on the way, and knocked on Tristian's office door at 10:30 on the dot.

Tristan got up to answer the door. "Hey...wow you're on time," He remarked, usually college kids were on a ten minute delay.
"Siddown." He sat down behind his desk. "Tell me everything you need help with." Tristan smiled at her and then drank a large gulp of coffee.

"Yeah well, I don't usually have time in my schedule to get help with math homework," She confessed, taking a seat and getting out the homework. God, he was even more attractive up close.
She showed him the problems she was having issues with. "I'm an English major, this stuff is completely foreign to me."

"That's okay, Lord Byron is like Chinese to me," He smirked at her.
"So this is what you do," He leaned over and worked out the problem on her paper. She kind of smelled really good. FOCUS, she is your student. Fucking girls, I have a problem

She was sorta starting to get it. "I think I'm sorta getting it now," Zippy told him, just because she didn't want him to feel bad.
And it wasn't like he was one of those TAs that didn't know what he was doing or how to teach. He was actually decent at explaining, Zippy just couldn't concentrate, not to mention the last time she saw math was in high school. She took another sip of her coffee and blinked her eyes at the numbers on the page.

"Really? Or are you just saying that because you're sick of not getting?" Tristan asked her with a raised brow and when she turned to look at him their faces were extremely close together. Tristan sat back a little and cleared his throat.
His phone buzzed. "One second," He picked it up and looked at the text, he frowned. Tristan quickly answered it.

Taken aback, Zippy opened her mouth to respond with her usual No! Of course not! with an awkward chuckle, when he answered his phone.
Saved by the bell.

"Sorry about that, my sister... anyway...here figure this out so I know you understood it." Tristan said. He leaned back in his chair and yawned.
(Btw he totally rides a motorcycle)

((hot ))
Zippy gulped, reaching for her pencil. Oh god, she was going to look like such an idiot. She solved one of the homework problems, or at least attempted to, and handed him the paper.
"Is that right?" It probably wasn't. This was so embarrassing.

Tristan actually applauded for her. "Do you want a gold star?" He seriously meant it. "I have like a pile of those stickers over there," he motioned to his bookcase.

"Actually....yeah!" Zippy chuckled, smiling. She was very proud of herself! She then proceeded to solve the next homework problem.
