She wrapped her arms around him, closing her eyes. She could feel her heart pounding wildly, her whole body was trying to force her to pull away, but she didn't.

**15 minutes later**
Spot sighed happily, pulling the blankets up to his shoulders and cuddling against her. "Night babe," and shut his eyes.

Raven stared blankly at the wall, tears clouding her eyes. It was awful, she'd never felt so...so empty, so displaced. Her body had turned against her. She knew who she was sleeping with but her body wouldn't let her enjoy it.
Raven heard the rumbling of thunder outside and the light patter of rain begin to fall. When she was sure Spot was completely asleep she quietly slipped out of bed and dressed herself, tears sliding down her face.
In the doorway she turned to look at him, she swallowed hard. She had to do this, she had to or they would never be what they once were.
She left.
