"No, you're supposed to think of everything. You asked me out." She sat back up, her shoulder grazing his, and thought about how backwards their situation was. They'd been going at it like rabbits for almost two months now, and here they were talking about their first date.

Later that week, Kevin showed up to Lily's door after his last class. He was dressed a little nicer than usual. His hair was even styled instead of just laying in his eyes.

Lily had been inspecting herself closely in the mirror. She was wearing her new favorite outfit consisting of a form fitting green mini skirt, a flowy black blouse, black tights, and black heels. She had even straightened her hair, done her make-up, and spritzed on her favorite perfume.
Instead of simply yelling at Kevin to come in, she actually walked to the door and opened it.
"Hi." She greeted him a tad shyly.

"Hi," he echoed, just as shyly. "You... You look beautiful," he said, but he couldn't say it to her eyes. He blindly handed her a pink rose.

Lily actually blushed as she took the rose and brought it to her nose. She leaned against the door and ushered him in.

"I feel like I'm always hungry." She replied with a bashful smile.
They hadn't seen each other since the morning after Halloween - Lily had been crazy busy with work and school, plus she'd found out that her outburst of anger toward Clarissa had been a symptom of PMS. And until seeing him now, she hadn't realized how much she'd missed him.
"Where are we going?" She asked excitedly.
