"Oh my word, I'm SO sorry!" Tag deflated a bit, feeling very awful indeed for not remembering to tell her best friend.
"Well, you see, I convinced him to get Pride & Prejudice from the library. But he wasn't reading it, so I said I would read it to him. And we've been reading some of it every day, and it's so nice. But, anyways. We were reading at the library and he just asked me out and I said 'yes.' I guess he was tired of being just friends. But, so was I."
A nice, pink blush had overtaken Tag's face as she talked, as well as a sheepish smile.
