"I'd rather have them over Londoners," Sapphy shrugged. "Sorry you're not happy about it, though," she added empathetically.

The bell over the door tinkled as Raven came into the diner, yawning. She just wanted some fucking toast. She was starving but lately her body had decided to make her puke everything up. She felt like she looked like a whale.
It was also bad enough she still had to serve the she bitch her breakfast every morning and stand there until Annabelle decided she would like to eat, usually about forty five minutes. One of these days she was gonna dump the tray on her head...if her hormones got any worse it will probably end up being tomorrow.
She made her way over to the counter, "Can I get some toast with jelly and a hot tea?"

((Oh gods, Macbeth + hormonal Raven! And she was doing so well with Sapphy...))
"Yeah, well. Thanks," Macbeth said a little uncertainly, always thrown off guard when she managed not to scare someone off or earn their undying hatred. She glanced over at the grumpy-looking girl who had just ordered breakfast, but naturally said nothing to her.

"Oh my. Wow. Rae, hi!" Sapphy waved happily.

Raven turned around and then smiled. "Sapphy! Hey!" She hadn't seen her since their emotional talk after the poker game.
She told the waiter to bring her order over to Sapphy's table. She plopped right down beside Sapphy. "I told you so by the way." She crossed her leg and crossed her arms, then she leaned over and held out her hand to the dark haired stranger.
"I'm Rae."

Beth stared at her, lost and confused, and finally shook her hand. "How thrilling. I'm Macbeth."

She was immediately put on the defensive, she leaned back, raised a brow at the girl and smirked. "Extremely actually," she paused before saying her name, "Beth."
((Damn this is so not going to go well...Rae'll cut a bitch, preggo or not LOL))

((Oh, I know. Some of my characters live to get cut, it's all good. ;D))
"Really? Why? Do you rule over Manhattan these days or something?" Macbeth snarked at her, wondering wistfully why she couldn't have just read her book and sipped her tea and ignored everyone else and stayed out of trouble.

"You should really learn when to watch your mouth," Raven smirked at her. "You're so unbelievably new the smell is coming off you. Why don't you take another guess at who I am?" In a way this was amusing Raven to no end, she also liked to teach new hardheaded girls a lesson sometimes. She also hated being disrespected especially since she put up with it on a daily basis.
((Oh jesus))

"Macbeth just came home from London!" Sapphy piped up, turning on her bubbly air when uncomfortable. It was like channeling Kennedy. "Isn't that interesting?"

"Mhm...enthralling." Raven completely decided to ignore Beth for the time being and looked at Sapphy.
"And I said I told you so." She crossed her arms, leaned back in the chair and smirked. Finally her tea and toast arrived. "Thank God." She bit into the toast and sighed.

Beth rolled her eyes, because she might be new to this particular lodging house, but she sure as hell wasn't new to New York, interpersonal drama, or this type of girl. In fact, she was even willing to take a shot at her origins.
"A stuck-up bird from across the bridge who thinks Brooklyn's the center of the universe?" she suggested, giving the redheaded girl a look that was half-incredulous, half-pitying. "I don't think she's interested."

"I think it's interesting," Sapphy smiled a little wider, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. She decided to ignore Raven's allusion to Race to instead ask Macbeth, "How long was the boat ride anyway?"

Raven actually laughed. "Well when he's in your bed every night he kind of has to be. Though I'd sooner burn the place down then live there again." She took another bite of her toast, chewed and then swallowed.
"All I remember about London was that it smelled like shit and piss, so no, I'm not really that interested." Raven sipped her tea and then rubbed her stomach, it was doing that grumbling queasy thing again. Of course Spot Conlon's child had to give her nausea every day for about five hours.

"Three and a half days. With a goddamn baby, too--best idea I ever had," Beth grumbled, carelessly spouting personal information because her attention was still on the Brooklyn girl. She was pretty good at multitasking.
"So you're full of yourself 'cause you're fucking Spot Conlon? That ain't exactly uncommon, from what I hear."
((Aaand she's probably dead now. Also, I'm assuming she can't tell Rae's pregnant?))
