Zippy smiled at Sapphy. She heard all about her and Race and that made her SO HAPPY. "I've been good, just been selling and minding my own business as usual." She looked at Spot, who was in the middle of setting the table and grumbling about something about how expensive the plates musta been.
"I see you moved up in the world, Spot," she joked, glancing around the loft. Spot gave her an annoyed looked and nodded.
"Hopefully we can afford to keep it if RAE WOULD QUIT SPENDING ALL MY DAMN MONEY!"

Raven whirled on him immediately. "Excuse me, I am not frivilously spending money! When I got here you didn't own ANY FURNITURE! We had three fucking plates to eat off of and two cups! How were we having company with three plates and two cups! I needed things to cook with, to clean with and to wash our fucking clothes with! OH and never mind the fact that you're underthings had holes in them, you didn't mind that I bought you new underwear!"

Race decided that this was more than he had ever, ever needed to know about Spot's underwear. "So, Zippy! How have you been? Give us a life update! A really long one," he suggested pointedly.

"Me? Well. Dating Sapphy," he said with a grin, though everyone knew that by now, and she was standing right next to him. "Other than that, hmm...occasionally winning at the tracks, which is new. Still hustling poker with Rae here. Drunken adventures with Jack, insult matches with Blink and Mush. The usual."

Raven's eyes widened when Race said that and she shook her head quickly. Spot was going to flip out. "Ha! He's just kidding, I'd never do that in my condition..."
