"I don't," Macbeth grumbled. Now she'd have to find this guy and apologize or something. For her, apologizing was a form of torture. It came as a relief when the waiter showed up with their food. She sipped her Coke and set to work mashing up the fruit and the peas, while Jo made it as hard for her as possible by grabbing at the spoon.

"We weren't about to carry you both to the bunkrooms, so we settled for the couch," said Ershey before taking a bite out of her food. "I hope that wasn't too uncomfortable..."
Risk simply shook his head, his mouth already full of food.

Macbeth paused with a spoonful of peas halfway to Jo's mouth. She suddenly remembered things about the couch. There was definitely cuddling. Mutual cuddling. Her cheeks flushed brilliantly, and she quickly bent over the baby to hide them, shoveling food into poor Josephine's mouth.

His food already halfway gone, Risk glanced over at Macbeth and noticed her cheeks flush. He stopped mid-chew and mumbled, "What's wrong?" He obviously had no recollection of that night other than they made it back home.

"Nothing!" she snapped, but she slowed down a little, giving the writhing, whimpering baby a chance to swallow her food. With her free hand, Macbeth took another sip of Coke, glaring out across the restaurant as if everyone in the room deserved to die.

Ershey narrowed her eyes at Macbeth, noticing her friend's sudden change in behavior. Maybe something did happen? If Risk wasn't here, she normally would've prodded her for more information but the way Macbeth stared at the other people in the restaurant proved that it wouldn't be such a great idea.
"Do you need help with Jo?" asked Risk, finishing his food. "I can... do something?"

Macbeth boosted the fruit-covered baby on one arm, grabbed a bunch of napkins in the other hand, and literally dumped them both in his lap.

"W-whoa, okay," muttered Risk, putting an arm around Jo and grabbing a napkin to wipe her face. "Aww, look how mess you are..." he cooed.
"Okay, maybe he's not so bad," whispered Ershey to Macbeth. If a guy can handle a baby, how horrible could he be?

Macbeth eyed him coolly. "Maybe you can hire him out to me as a baby-sitter," she whispered back. "And book-carrier, and food-buyer." But no bloody cuddling included in the package!
((To bed with me! <3 But ONE of these days, we are getting Truth or Dare started. ;D))

((Gnight! Yes, we shall!!! <3))
Ershey shrugged. "Sure."
Jo, however, was having fun with Risk as she giggled and patiently let him wipe her face. Once he was done, she laughed and reached out to grab his nose.

Macbeth watched Risk and Jo with an odd mix of annoyance and amusement. "I should be getting her home. Is it safe to leave you two alone with each other yet?" She looked from Risk to Ershey; she didn't want to come back to find they'd killed each other.

Ershey sighed. She could tolerate Risk for a few more minutes, if need be. "We'll be fine," nodded Ershey.
Risk cooed at Jo, waving at her as if to say goodbye before she grabbed his fingers once again.

Macbeth stood up and carefully collected Jo from Risk's arms. The poor kid let out a wail. Beth rolled her eyes and rubbed her back to quiet her. "Thanks for the meal," she told him. "Jo oughta be saying it, but she's got her own ways." Jo demonstrated with another heartbroken whimper, reaching out for Risk. Beth turned to Ershey. "Let me know if he gives you any trouble, Ersh!" she said with a menacing look. "See ya around." And she left the restaurant, with several random strangers staring after her.
