"Same as I was when you asked me earlier," she replied, settling back into her pillows. She felt a chill run up her spine.
"It's getting dark outside, you should probably go back to the house." She didn't want him here when her fever returned, for he wouldn't want to leave.

"Want me to get you anything before I leave?" he asked, frowning. If he could, he would stay here until she was better.

"No, I'm okay. I'm sure the nurse will come in soon to give me food or medicine or something," Tag sighed, leaning her head against the pillow. She was definitely getting colder.

Specs sighed, leaning over to give her a tight hug. He kissed her on the cheek and smiled. "I'll be back tomorrow morning, alright?"

Specs pulled her into another hug before finally walking towards the door. He waved goodbye and closed the door behind him, sad yet relieved that she was in better hands.
