Jack laughed and then shook his head. "You're not passive agressive all the time."

"Only when my feathers are ruffled. And it happens more than you think," she sighed, sounding disappointed in herself.

"Everyone's entitled to have their feathers ruffled and you should stick up for yourself when you do. Hey, at least you don't flip out the way Rae does. Her temper is legendary," He smirked at her and nudged her shoulder with his own.

"So I've seen," she laughed. "What about you?" she nudged him back. "What do you do when something rubs you the wrong way?"

"Well I get all broody and grumpy," He made his grumpy face at her which really wasn't very impressive. "So I get all silent and let the person yell for awhile and then everything starts churning in my head and then all of a sudden it's like it all hits me and finally I start blurting out things that have been bothering me since the day I met that person." He shrugged. "Probably not a very good way to deal with being pissed off."

"Sounds like you just bottle everything up," she frowned sympathetically.

"Yeah, till I get really fed up," He nodded. "It's better to just let it out."

"Well... If you ever need a neutral third party to listen and uncork yer bottle..." She gestured to herself with a grin.

"I'll definitely take you up on that offer," Jack said with a smile. "Also, same goes for you. You ever need to vent, I'm a pretty good listener."

"Oh Jack Kelly," Sapphy laughed dramatically. "My life is an open book -- but I will keep that in mind."
Sapphy was the one who listened. She rarely liked to do the talking -- she lost friends that way.

"Sure it is, I know there's more to you than what you decided to tell people, everyone is like that." Jack said, sometimes he could be remarkable profound.

Sapphy smiled at Jack but didn't say anything.
"Wanna give me some good blackmail information on My Man?"

"Like what? Well, you know he's a gambler, he just can't help himself. He's got a thing for red wine. What else do you wanna know? Race is a decent guy." He grinned at her. "Okay a good guy actually."

"I haven't had anything to tease him about lately," she grinned. "I'll remember the weakness for red wine, though."

"And you better get the wine from Rae, evidently she's got a guy that she gets it from." Jack shrugged and held up his hands. "I dunno bout nothing, but evidently it's some good wine."
