"Race! I didn't roll my eyes!" giggled Ershey, her beer already half empty.
"But you hit me! I swear I'm goin' to have a bruise tomorrow mornin' 'cause of you!"

"We'll throw in physical attacks too," Race said, laughing at them. He might not know quite what to make of them as siblings, but they were certainly entertaining. "So...any fun childhood stories I should hear?"
((Heh!))

Upon Race's question, Ershey immediately became quiet. They didn't have too many fun memories. The only ones she remembered weren't exactly 'entertaining'.
"Er, uh... Adri used to sleepwalk when she was little!" beamed Risk.

"And she still does," Race said with a grin. "You were such a friendly sleepwalker, Ersh, you hugged me and everything!"

Ershey blushed, still quite embarrassed by that night. She was lucky she didn't run into anyone else.
"Were you confused?" asked Risk curiously. "Thought she was drunk? On drugs?"
"Alec!"

Race took another drink and smirked. "All of the above, for a while there. Seriously, Ersh, what if you'd gone right out the window? We oughta set up barricades."

"Then our place will look like the refuge," frowned Ershey.

"Barricades covered in flowers and happy slogans?"

"Let's drink to that!" laughed Risk, raising his bottle in the air before finally finishing it off.

Why not? Race chugged down the last of his own drink and wondered if it would be unchivalrous to make Ershey buy a round, because his lull in gambling lately meant a lull in extra cash as well.

Ershey watched the boys, shrugged and decided to finish hers as well. Placing the bottle down on the already full table, she took a breath before standing up.
"My turn!" she grinned, clumsily walking over to the bar.

"Now look whatcha done," Race said to Risk, seeing that Ershey was feeling the alcohol already. "Five to one we'll end up carrying her home, at least. Why do I let people talk me into things?" he wondered aloud.

Risk rolled his eyes at Race and put his arm around his shoulder. "We didn't talk you into it! You wanted to come!"
Ershey, however, was now making her way back to the table. Instead of holding the beers, the bartender was walking her back, her arm on his as he juggled three beers on the other hand. "Look," giggled Ershey. "I got more!"

"You oughta bring only Irishmen," Charlie the bartender scolded. "They know how to hold their liquor!"
"Next time," Race promised with a smirk, getting up to guide Ershey safely into her chair while Charlie set the drinks down and went back to the bar. "Maybe you oughta take a break, Ersh."

Ershey simply shrugged, wrapped her arms around Risk and smiled brightly. "My brother's here!"
"Yay!" cheered Risk, hugging her in return.
