Lillian heard a gaggle of girls heading toward them, but she only opened her eyes when one of them stopped to talk. To Ryan.
"Hi, Ryan," one of the blonde ones said, twisting a strand of hair around her finger. She didn't even glance at Lillian.

Ryan frowned when one of the girls started talking to him. He didn't even know her.

"That's nice," muttered Ryan before gesturing towards Lillian. "Bianca, have you met my girlfriend, Lillian?"

Bianca glanced over at Lillian, smiling for a nanosecond. "So, Ryan, me and my friends--" My friends and I Lillian corrected her in her mind. "--are gonna form a study group for the exam. Do you wanna join us?"

Bianca shifted her weight, her smile faltering a bit. "Oh. That's nice. Uhm, also, I'm having a party at my parent's house this weekend. Do you want to come? There'll be lots of booze!"

Ryan normally would've said yes but he was too content spending time with Lillian, even though it meant studying.
"I'll be studying this weekend, Bianca," chuckled Ryan, amused at the girl's persistence. "Finals is next week, anyway. Maybe next time?"

Bianca frowned again. "Oh. Okay." One of her friends nudged her. "Well...see ya." She turned, but not before rolling her eyes. Her friend that nudged her murmured something under her breath, and Bianca replied with "Well, I tried! I don't know..."
Lillian bit her lip to keep from laughing.

Once the girls were gone, Ryan couldn't help but laugh. He glanced over at Lillian and smiled, "Honestly, I don't even remember her from class!"
