Lillian waited halfway in-between the front desk and the elevators, anxiously awaiting Ryan's arrival. She didn't care that her parents were standing 10 feet away or that her sister was ready to start making fun of her.

Ryan was moving the second the elevator doors opened. He ran towards the lobby, his eyes scanning the area for Lillian. He grinned widely once he spotted her, her stuffed moose sticking out like a sore thumb.
"Lillian!" he shouted, running towards her and immediately wrapping his arms around her.

Lillian hugged him tightly, still holding on to her moose. "I missed you," she said softly into his ear before kissing him there.

Ryan returned her kiss, making sure to keep it short since her family was watching. "I missed you too," he replied. "How was your flight?"

Lillian shrugged, unable to keep a smile off her face. "It was fine." She was about to ask him how Florida had been treating him, but her parents interrupted them. Blushing madly, Lillian introduced them. Her dad took Ryan's hand in a very firm grip, shaking it as he said hello. Then, her little sister came and stepped on his foot.
"Don't worry, she's actually a monster. That means she likes you."

"Are you sure?" muttered Ryan, attempting to put on a smile despite the pain. "My parents are just out taking a walk but my family invited you to dinner tonight. Would that be alright?"

Lillian looked over at her dad with wide eyes, her brow furrowed. He nodded before taking her mom's hand and heading toward the elevator.
Once they were out of sight, Lillian stood on her toes and kissed him again, longer this time.

Ryan smiled, gently returning her kiss and wrapping his arms around her tightly. "I'm glad you're here," he muttered softly.

"You get used to it after a while," laughed Ryan, taking her suitcase from her. "Let's put this in your room. Are you sharing with your sister?"

"Yep," Lillian replied, chuckling. She followed him onto the elevator, pressing the button for the fifth floor. "She's like the weather here. You get used to her after a while."

Lillian nodded, pressing her side to his. "I'm thoroughly convinced she'll turn into a normal child again once she sees Cinderella's castle, though." And I'll probably do the same...

Lillian nudged him playfully, narrowing her eyes at him. The elevator doors opened and Lillian walked out, heading down the hall to her room. "So, dinner tonight...?" What should she wear?!
