She laughed, finishing off her sandwich. "Father Shannon always kept a bottle or two of wine -- pre-consecrated, mind you. I'm not a total heathen -- in his cabinet. Some of the girls snuck in one day, but couldn't get it opened. I remember Mama opening the front door with a hairpin when we got locked out one day, so I gave it a shot." She lifted her shoulder a little. "Apparently I have many hidden talents." She flashed him a smile.

(("Here have some wine."/"This is holy wine."/"Father hasn't blessed it yet!" *will now be singing musicals for the rest of the day*))
"Well, I look forward to discovering more of them," he said, smiling back as he finished his own sandwich, sipped the lemonade, and reached for a brownie. It was a nice day, with the warm sunshine and a soft, cool breeze blowing through the trees. A short distance away, a tabby cat paused in his wanderings to eye the picnic hopefully. "Don't even think about it," Goblin muttered, staring it down until it slunk away.

((Hahaha!))
She laughed a little, watching the exchange with the cat. It really was kind of adorable. She watched him eat the brownie, sitting in comfortable silence, then giggled at him. "You have chocolate, just there." She pointed at the corner of his mouth. "No, you've missed it. Here let me get it." She leaned forward and brushed off the chocolate with her thumb. She looked at him, realizing how close they were. She sat back just a little, glancing down at her thumb. She hesitated just a second, then put her thumb to her mouth, licking off the chocolate. She kept her eyes on him the whole time.

Goblin watched the whole thing silently. He knew what she was doing, but that didn't mean he was immune to it. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, no one was currently after him as far as he knew, and even Clara had a new love in her life--so why the hell not? He leaned forward, rested his hand lightly on her neck, and kissed her again.
((Gonna go get some writing done. Be back later! <3))

((Have fun!))
Her eyes fluttered closed as his lips touched hers, and she kissed him back slowly. She moved closer to him and carefully, very carefully, pressed her hand to his chest. She opened her mouth against his, deepening the kiss in hopes of distracting him from the fact that she was touching him.

His hand slid down to her back as he drew her closer, pretty much ignoring the fact that they were in a public park. He knew where her hands were--he couldn't turn off his powers of observation even if he tried--but he concentrated as hard as he could on her, the sweet and lovely and completely trustworthy girl who was Script, and not the frantic part of his mind that thought hands were really dangerous and had to be avoided. He rested his fingers on her wrist and didn't pull away.

A soft little mew escaped her throat as she leaned into him. She was overwhelmed by the sensations -- his heartbeat, his scent, the texture and taste of his mouth. Her free hand trailed up his arm and around to his neck, kneading lightly at his skin there. She pulled out of the kiss, just enough to breath, but kept close to him, her forehead pressed to his and her hands remaining where they were. Her eyes fluttered open and locked on his, "Oh, my..."

"Yeah," he agreed a bit hoarsely, fingernails trailing lightly down her arm. For a moment he couldn't even look away from her, and then he straightened up slightly as the whole 'Central Park' aspect occurred to him. "We might be scaring the kids," he said with a slight smile.

She blushed, chuckling softly. She tilted up at him, nudging her nose against his gently. "We could get outta here...if you wanted to..." She couldn't help it -- her lips found his again, kissing him softly, teeth scraping against his bottom lip just a little.

He kissed her back, lingering with his lips against hers before he pulled away. "And go where?" he asked warily. At this rate, far from taking things slow, they would be destroying any Catholic values she had left by the end of the day.

She sighed a little dreamily against his lips. "Anywhere...the roof? It's a a nice evening. Not cold yet." Her hand was gingerly playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.

He was pretty sure no one had ever dared to have sex on the roof, so that should be safe enough. Her hand on his neck was giving him chills, but they were the good kind. Mostly. He took her hand and smiled. "Sounds good to me."

She smiled back at him, eyes soft. She kissed him one more time before gathering up their picnic things, shaking out the blanket, folding it and tucking it in the basket. She took the basket, then his hand. As they walked, she looked at him sidelong, considering. She wasn't sure where things were going to go. All she knew was that she wanted to be alone with him.

He looked back at her, not really knowing what they were doing either--but that was kind of true of their whole relationship thus far. One minute there were brownies; the next, they were terrorizing boarding-school girls on the Upper West Side, sliding down banisters, and getting rescued by his sister's ex-girlfriend. Who knew what came next?
The lodging house came into view, and he headed inside with her, detouring into the kitchen so they could drop off the picnic stuff, and then up the stairs.

Script grabbed the blanket, then followed him up. She sent him a smile, flushing slightly. "Just in case it gets cold..." When they reached the roof, she found a spot to sit where they could lean back against the wall and watch the sunset. When they were both comfortably seated, she angled towards him and bit her lip, meeting his eyes. "Hi..."
