Tyler groaned and hung his head, naked and desperate. "Dammit, Kat, yer killin' me..." He rested his forehead on her shoulder, hands on her thighs. "I need you, baby..."
Maggie arched up, head falling back with a moan. "Teddy...oh, God..." She matched his rhythm, moving with him. If she died tomorrow, at least she had this now.

"Tyler, I know, I'm sorry," she whispered, putting a hand under his chin and lifting it up so he looked at her. "But my job has to come first. You know that. Too many lives, including yours, are dependent on me doing my job. But tonight I don't work. Tonight you can tell whoever's on duty you're going for a walk. And if they ask, say I told you to. It'll be good for you to get some exercise..." Kathryn's serious expression turned to a sly one. "Although you'll actually be getting a different kind of exercise..."
"Mags...you feel so good..." Teddy panted, trying to catch his breath but it was a losing battle. He bent his head to take one breast in his mouth, licking and nipping at her.

Tyler let himself smirk. "Yeah, I'll say." He framed her face in his hands, kissing her, softer now. "Alright. Tonight." He murmured against her lips. "I love ya, Sugar..." He kissed her again, then moved back to get his clothes, dressing.
Maggie let out another whimpering moan, writhing beneathe him. She felt her insides tighten. "I...Teddy..!" She couldn't hold off any longer, and her nails dug into his back as she arched up, coming hard around him. She clung to him, forehead pressed against his shoulder as she rode out the wave of pleasure.

Once he was dressed, Kathryn hopped off the counter and came up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I love you, too," she said softly, kissing his shoulder through his t-shirt.
Teddy came only seconds after she did, kissing her to muffle his cry. His head was swimming with a million thoughts, though he could barely discern any of them. He just knew he had never felt like that before - and somehow he knew he never would again. Not with anyone else, at least.

Tyler smiled, sliding his hands over her arms, leaning back against her lightly. "Where do ya want me to meet you tonight?" He was already aching to see her again.
Maggie held him to her, settling back against the grass. He breathing was heavy as she tried to calm her racing heart. Her hand trailed lightly along his back, and she kissed his forehead. "Oh, wow..." She swallowed a little roughly.

"I'm in the building two down from this one, building G. First floor, room 8." She turned her head to rest her cheek against his back, closing her eyes and breathing in his scent.
Teddy's chest heaved as he still struggled to breathe properly. "Yeah..." he replied before weakly kissed the side of her mouth.

Tyler turned in her arms to hold her, kissing her hair, then resting his chin at the top of her head. "Got it. I'll be there." He let out a little sigh. "Come on. We'd better go."
Maggie smiled, cheeks still flushed. They laid like that for a while, her hand just idly rubbing his back. She frowned a little as she thought about their time limit. "Teddy...?"

Kathryn was tempted to say 'No, let's just stay here for a little bit longer...' but she did have a job to do. So, she simply nodded, stepping away from him and unlocking the door, opening it. She helped him back out to his cot before conversing with the other nurse on duty and going about her job.
Teddy lifted his head only enough to be able to look at her properly. "Hmm?"

Tyler got back into bed, grabbing a book. He only half-read it, though. He was too busy watching Kathryn the rest of the afternoon. He got this weird tightness in his chest when he thought about her, and at one point, he had to physically rub his chest.
She met his eyes, searching them. "When...when you leave again...come back to me..? To me..?" He hand brushed along his cheek, and she bit her lip, eyes watering a little.

When 5 o'clock rolled around, Kathryn filled in her relieving nurse on the new patient that had just come in with a horrible gunshot wound in his arm. After his arrival, Kathryn's face had been solemn constantly. Seeing this man only reminded her that the war was still going on, even though she only felt love in her heart. And once Tyler was released from the clinic, he would go back to fighting. She didn't even glance at him on her way out, afraid she would burst into tears.
Teddy furrowed his brow, his thumb coming up to her cheek to catch any falling tears. "Mags... I will," he said softly, gazing into her eyes. "I will." His voice was more definite, confident now. "If it's the last thing I ever do, I'll come back to you."

Tyler frowned, watching her. He knew that kid that came in had shaken her. She didn't show it, but he knew. He looked out the window, lost in his own thoughts. He wanted so badly to go home. He hoped his bum knee was enough for the Army to decide he couldn't be back in the field. He gave Kathryn an hour, then got out of bed, putting on his shoes. He told the nurse he was going for a long walk, and headed towards Kathryn's.
Maggie rolled them so they were on their sides and she clung to him. She couldn't help it --she started to cry, burying her face in his shoulder. She didn't want him to leave at all. She finally found what she'd spent her whole life looking for, and she was going to have to let him go again.

Kathryn had tried to distract herself from thinking about everything, but none of it had really worked. She started writing a letter to her sister, but tear drops had fallen on it and blurred her words, so she crumpled it up and threw it out. So, when she heard a soft knock on her door, she rushed to it and opened it swiftly.
Teddy rubbed her back, his heart breaking at the sound of her cries. "Hey, hey..." he said soothingly, kissing her hair. "Come on... Don't... Please don't cry."

The second Tyler saw her, he knew she'd been crying. "Oh, baby...baby, come 'ere." He gathered her up against him, closing the door. He stood there, holding her, rubbing her back, kissing her hair. "Shh...baby...what is it?"
Maggie sniffled, feeling silly for crying. She pulled back to wipe at her eyes. "Let's leave. Let's just go. To Canada or something." Her voice came out a little desperate.

Tyler murmured against her hair, soothing her. "Baby...it's alright...I might not have to..." He scooped her up into his arms, carrying her over to the bed, laying her down, then laying beside her, pulling her back to him.
Maggie smiled weakly. "Why do you have to be so damn upstanding and patriotic." She pushed at his shoulder lightly, then kissed him.
