((Haha, Tyler is definitely waaaay too much of a manly man to admit it))
Tyler thought about it a minute, then shrugged. "They can paint pictures of footballs." He kissed her belly with a grin, then stood straight to pull her against him.
"Well, you know what I mean. We didn't really know each other then. We spent three weeks together. So, fine, two years. But it's been less than a year since we've been together together." She smirked, finding his tshirt and pulling it on, then laying back down again. "We spent the first year of our relationship a half a world away from each other. And we still managed to make it work."

Kathryn sighed, putting her hands on her stomach as she looked down at it. "Don't worry, baby. You'll always have mommy's undying love and support."
Teddy sat on the edge of the bed, angled toward her, his hand on her bare leg. "Mags...I don't know if I ever told you this, but...your letters? They were what kept me sane, kept me alive over there."

Tyler grimaced dramatically. "You're gonna make our poor kid into a Momma's Boy. You're lucky I think you're hot." He shot her a playful grin.
Maggie smiled at him softly, maybe a little shyly. "Really? They weren't anything special...just letters about how much I missed you..."

"Yes, very lucky," Kathryn replied seriously, smiling up at him.
Teddy shrugged, rubbing her ankle. "Yeah, but it was just the fact you wrote them. I never understood why the other guys would get so excited when they got letters from their girls, but I did when I got my first letter from you."

Tyler laughed again, then scooped her up into his arms. He kissed her nose as he carried her to the living room, sitting on the couch and setting her on his lap.
Maggie bit her lip, watching him. "I was always so worried about you, Teddy. Every day I worried..."

"What, why did you laugh?!" She asked, sitting sideways on his lap, looping her arm around his neck. "I was serious!"
Teddy hung his head for a brief moment before meeting her eyes again. "It was smart not to say that in any of your letters."

Tyler grinned and nuzzled her neck. "Baby, I'm the lucky one in this relationship. Trust me."
Maggie reached for him, needing to feel him against her. "I wanted my letters to make you happy. I think that's why I never told you about Daisy...I was so afraid you'd be upset..."

Kathryn knew they were both lucky, but it was best to let Tyler believe he was right. The next day, Kathryn had a doctor's appointment at the nearby hospital. Tyler had to pick her up from the house and take her during his lunch break; she was too much of a chicken to drive in her condition. She sat in the chair, hospital gown on, her eyes wide as the doctor said something curious. "Hmm...I'm hearing more than one heartbeat in here..." he muttered, almost to himself but loud enough for her to hear.
Teddy got under the covers and lay down next to her, sliding an arm around her waist. "Well, now you know me better, hmm?" he teased slightly, kissing her shoulder.

Tyler blinked from his spot in a chair by the table Kathryn was laying on. "Two...is that normal? That's not normal is it?"
Maggie smiled and snuggled back against him. "I do. And I know that Daisy and I couldn't be loved more, or by a better man." She glanced back at him over her shoulder.

Kathryn glared at Tyler; why did he say things like that?! The doctor just chuckled a bit, glancing up at the both of them. "It's perfectly normal, though not extremely common. It just means you're having twins! Congratulations!"
Teddy kissed her cheek quickly, feeling a bit choked up. But, of course, he covered up the emotion with humor. "I always knew you were smart, Mags."

Tyler gaped, staring at the doctor. "I...what??" He couldn't have twins. Twins were two babies. At the same time.
Maggie giggled a little. He wasn't able to hide his emotion from her. "Baby, you're such a softie. I love it."

Kathryn didn't know how to feel; twins would be a lot of work, but...she couldn't help but feel excited at the idea of having two kids already, one for each of them! The doctor finished up the ultrasound and went to go print it off for them. Kathryn reached her hand for Tyler, sensing he was a bit distraught.
"Don't go spreading that around, okay? Especially not to the guys at work," he chuckled as he nuzzled into her neck.

Tyler held her hand as they left and walked to the car. He hadn't said a word. When they got in, he just sat in the driver's seat in a daze. "Twins..."
Maggie laughed and kissed him. "I promise." Weeks went by, and Teddy and Maggie spent as much time being intimate as their bodies and a one-year-old would allow. One night after putting Daisy to bed, Maggie holed herself up in the bathroom with a pregnancy test.

Kathryn set a hand on his leg, squeezing it gently, comfortingly. "Baby...are you okay?"
Teddy sat nervously on their bed, his head in his hands. He was trying to tell himself that if she wasn't pregnant yet, he couldn't act disappointed. He had to be comforting, reassuring. He could do that.

He turned his head to blink at her. "I...how...I mean, I know I'm good, but..." He might have been in shock. He wasn't unhappy, just surprised.
Maggie came out of the bathroom, holding the stick. "Alright, baby, one more minute. It's the moment of truth." She sat beside him, holding the stick so he could see. After what felt like an eternity a little pink plus sign emerged.
