Kathryn laughed, leaning over to kiss him soundly on the mouth. "No, you're not good. You're amazing." She pulled back to look at him, seriously. "Tyler, we're so lucky. Some people have trouble getting pregnant, some people even can't at all. And here we are, married for less than a year, having twins."
"...It's a girl?"

He relaxed when she kissed him, a hand instinctivly moving to her growing belly. "We can do this, right? I mean...I'm not gonna totally screw up, yeah?"
Maggie laughed fully. "No, Teddy, it just means I'm pregnant!" She said it again, softer this time. "I'm pregnant..."
((Geez, we're just havin' babies all over the place))

Kathryn placed a hand on top of his. "No, you're not going to screw up. We can do this," she said softly. She almost found it funny that now Tyler was the one freaking out, and she was the one calming his nerves. So many times the situation had been the opposite. A couple months later, Kathryn was lying on the couch, her head on a pillow in Tyler's lap. "We still haven't picked out names yet..." Probably because they couldn't agree on anything.
A huge smile broke out on Teddy's face and he wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tightly. He couldn't find any words.
((Yay! I love babies!! Not that I want to have one anytime soon. I like other peoples' babies.))

Tyler was rubbing her ever-expanding belly while he half-watched a football game on TV. "Well, tell me which names ya like, again. If it's a boy?"
Maggie buried her face in his shoulder, sniffling happily. "Oh, baby...we're having a baby! And you're here!" That sent her over the edge, and she started to cry.

"For a boy, I like Robert, after my father. And Adam." Kathryn tried to watch the game, but she had no idea what was going on. She just knew that if Tyler's team won, he was in a good mood and usually took her out for dinner. If they lost, he sulked and had a tendency to snap at her.
Teddy held her in his arms, rubbing her back. He felt like crying himself, but he wanted to be strong for her. "I'm here," he said softly. He was nervous, though... The war still wasn't over, and he'd heard that some of his old army buddies were getting called back... He just hoped he wouldn't be one of them.

Tyler grunted at an incomplete pass, then looked down at her. "Adam's alright. I like Sam." He brushed his hand over the swell of her breast lightly. "And if they're girls?"
Maggie pulled back, wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry, baby. I don't even know why I'm crying."

((Sam was my daddy's name! It's funny, I've been hearing/seeing his name come up quite a bit while I've been in SA  )) "Anne or Annie, maybe. I also like Susie. Isn't that adorable?!" Teddy wiped his thumb under her cheek, catching a tear drop. "You're happy, that's why." He kissed her nose lightly, sighing. |

Tyler chuckled and leaned down to kiss her. "I like Annie, though. It's cute."
Maggie smiled at him, biting her lip. "I love you, Teddy. So, so much."

"What if we have two girls, though?" She furrowed her brow, shifting a bit as the babies fought over where to be.
Teddy smiled back, kissing her. "I love you, too."

Tyler rubbed her belly, trying to soothe. "If we have two girls, I gotta invest in a shotgun." He smirked at her, only half-kidding.
Four months went by and Maggie was starting to show, which fascinated the heck out of Daisy. When Teddy got home from work, they were sitting on the couch, Daisy talking gibberish to Maggie's belly.

Kathryn rolled her eyes, grunting a bit as she sat up. "Is your team winning?" she asked, stretching her sore muscles. She wanted to something nice for dinner.
Teddy went straight to the kitchen to wash the grease off his hands; the one thing he disliked about working with cars was all the mess they left behind. But that sounded a bit like Daisy, as well... When he re-entered the living room, Daisy was waiting, ready to squeal at the sight of him. He picked her up easily, swinging her into the air. "How's my girl today, huh?"

Tyler helped her sit up, then arched a brow at her. "Yeah. Why?"
"Talkative. She seriously won't stop." Maggie laughed, smiling up at him. "Every once in a while I'll pick up a word, but mostly it's just nonsense."

Kathryn turned to cuddle next to him, one hand on his shoulder. "I just want you to be happy," she explained, her lips brushing against his cheek.
"Daisy, that's the boy's job, to talk nonsense," he scolded her playfully, tapping her little nose with his finger. He leaned down to kiss Maggie softly. "How are you?"
