"You bet he is. He never wants to sleep and always needs to be occupied." Raven said with a smile.

Moonshine grinned at the baby. "Well, I guess if I had yer mama around all the time, I probably wouldn't wanna sleep either." He leaned down to blow a raspberry on his belly.

His eyes widened, his brows shooting up to his hairline. "He never married ya...and just left?" Say what you want about Moonshine, but he knew better than to shirk on his responsibilities. He shifted Sean on his lap. "Aw, Rae, I'm...I'm real sorry..." he gave her a soft look.

Raven shrugged, "I shoulda known better. I just felt like everything was too good to be true and it was." She sighed. "I'll be fine though."

He frowned, then stood up, holding Sean like an expert, and moved to sit beside her on the couch. "Hey, if ya need anything, you just lemme know."

Moonshine grinned, letting Sean gum on one of his knuckles. "Well, thanks, Sugar. That's nice of you to say." He met her eyes a minute. She was awfully pretty... Rose popped into his head for a second, and he felt a pang of guilt. But it's not like he and Rose were dating exclusively or anything. So what did it matter?
