He smiled at her. "Hey, Sugar, no one's askin' you to throw yourself at anybody." Not that he would mind. It had been waaay too long since he'd gotten any real action. All Rose let him do was kiss. "Talkin's good. I'm good at talkin'."

He stretched out comfortably, propping his feet up on the coffee table. "Well, let's see...the older ones are six and four, then my other brother's got a two-year-old girl and another one on the way. Susie oughta be ready to pop soon, I think." He grinned, clearly comfortable being the family man.

He snorted. "Oh, it's nice alright. Crowded and loud and someone's always beatin' up on somebody else, but it's nice." He grinned at her. "I'm the middle kid. Two older brothers, two younger sisters. Guess I'm next in line to start my own, or at least that's what Mama would want."

He lifted a shoulder in a shrug, "I dunno. I kinda like it out here, now. Always somethin' goin' on," he sent her a smile, meeting her eyes, "And I like the people."
