"Okay Sean, bathtime." Raven said with a smile. The washroom was completely empty at the moment so this was as good a time as any.
Sean looked at his mother skeptically as she filled the sink with warm water. He grabbed the edge of his blanket and shoved it into his mouth.
Raven rolled up her sleeves to her elbows and cuffed them. She lifted Sean up from the floor, undressed him and then placed him into the warm water.
Sean yelped and slapped the water with his hand. Rae laughed.
"Relax,"

Macbeth wandered into the washroom to wash various weird food smells off her hands after a day of cooking at Tibby's. She stopped short in surprise when she found Raven washing her baby in the sink. "Hey," she said briefly, taking a good look at Sean. "He looks better than the last time I saw him." When he was tiny and wrinkled and fresh from the womb, that is.

"He's huge compared to the last time you saw him," Raven said with a huge smile and then made a face as Sean splashed her with water from his bath.
"So...I moved back in," She said and didn't look at Macbeth, she had no idea if she knew what happened between her and Spot. She carefully splashed water over Sean's back, holding him up against his stomach with one hand.

"Yeah...Racetrack told me. He ain't very happy with Spot," Macbeth said, thinking it was the first time she'd heard Race get angry about anything. "Need any help there?"

"I don't think so," Raven said with a shrug and then glared when Sean practically swiped the whole sink into her face. "Maybe I do." She said narrowing her eyes.
Sean was laughing hysterically and clapping his hands. "You're having too much fun now. I liked it better when you cried getting a bath."

Beth snickered and approached the sink tentatively. "Do I need to restrain him or something?" She was used to bathing Jo by any means necessary, but hesitant to lay hands on someone else's kid.

"Just grab him," Raven said and glared down at her son. He looked up at the two of them with huge blue eyes and shoved his wet fingers into his mouth.
"Oh no, don't go pulling cute face with me." Raven grabbed the soap and lathered it up in her hands.

Macbeth obediently grabbed Sean by the arms, as gently as she could while still holding him still, and waited for the soap to descend upon him. "So...I guess you've heard about Jo. And Tristan."

"I knew before I heard, her eyes gave it away." Raven said as she started scrubbing Sean clean. Sean of course began to scream with horror.
"Calm down...seriously Sean you sound like I'm murdering you." Raven rolled her eyes and then started washing him off with the water.
"I've known Tristan since I'm fourteen years old...and well known him a little too well, anyway his eyes are unmistakeable." She shrugged. "I'm also not surprised."

"Yeah, well. It's awkward and uncomfortable," Macbeth announced, which was maybe the understatement of the year when it came to her and Tristan's first few interactions. "But we did this whole family-dinner thing, and Race decided to play peacemaker, and I guess we ain't gonna kill each other now."

"Well that's good at least," Raven lifted Sean out of the sink and then wrapped him up nice and snug in a soft towel. Her son looked less than amused, his lips downturned in a frown.
"There is one thing I will say about him, he's a great father. His kids are his life...just let him be her dad." Raven said with a shrug. She rubbed Sean's back with the towel to dry him off, he was still pissed.

"Yeah, I'll visit and all," she muttered, though she'd really only made that concession because of Mikey and Lucy. "So how've things been since Spot left?" she asked bluntly. It wasn't like she had much experience with the ups and downs of romantic relationships. Or, you know, any.

"Fine...more on the shitty side of fine," She shrugged. "Mostly cause I'm pathetic and love him even though he's a dirty piece of shit. I'll kill him if I ever see him again though." Sean rested his head against his mom's shoulder and sucked his thumb.
"He's dead."

"Well, obviously I approve," Macbeth said with a smirk. One thing she did know about romance--if she ever had a hypothetical fiance, and if he were to hypothetically leave her at the altar, she would hypothetically kill him slowly.

"hell I bet I could hire you as my own personal Spot Conlon assassin," Raven said with a laugh.
