Beth, luckily, didn't notice this exchange. She was too busy keeping an eye on Jo and Sean, who appeared to be babbling in their own language that was neither English nor Hindi. It was a mysterious new baby language. "I think they're plotting world domination."

Sean was waving his arms around enthusiastically as Jo chattered with him.
"I'm a lot better," She said and smiled at Risk, "Well...we've met...aquaintances really..." She cleared her throat.
