He moved his hands to his thighs, squeezing. "I told ya I'd come back, Rosie. I told ya I would."

She smiled, biting her lip. "I remember." She threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "God, I missed you so much."

He buried his face in the crook of her neck, kissing her. "I'm here now, baby. I ain't goin' nowhere ever again."

"Good," she murmured, holding onto him tightly. "I can handle Billy by myself, but I don't know about two..."
Speaking of Billy, the boy himself was now thumping down the stairs, still groggy from his nap. But he'd had a nightmare and told his parents so when he walked into the living room. Rose got off Tyler's lap and let Billy get on. "I'll go make some dinner for my two boys," she said, giving each of them a kiss on the cheek.

Tyler smirked, but welcomed Billy gladly. The one downside to kids was the inability to be spontaneous and have sex with his wife on the couch. He played with Billy as he his son showed him his new toy train, laughing and joking with him.
He'd missed his family.

Rose pulled out all the stops for dinner tonight, making pot roast, of course, along with mashed potatoes, a green salad, corn casserole, and an apple pie for dessert. It was long, hard work but it was worth it.
"Okay Mister Conductors," she called once dinner was ready and the pie was in the oven.

The house smelled amazing, and Tyler's stomach grumbled in anticipation. He picked up Billy, tickling him and making him laugh. "Dinner time!"
He plopped Billy into a chair, then limped over to his own. "Baby, yer amazin'. Absolutely amazin'."

"Well..." she said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. She laughed as she sat down and filled Billy's plate for him. "Baby, you need to eat all of that salad or no dessert. You don't eat nearly enough vegetables," she said in her mom voice.

Tyler chuckled as Billy whined. He made a show of taking a big bite of his salad first, and Billy followed suit -- he wanted to be just like his Daddy, after all.

Rose nudged at his foot with hers under the table to say 'thank you.' She ate all her food for the first time in almost four months, and it tasted damn good. Then she took the pie out of the oven and let it cool on the windowsill.

Tyler sent Billy a wink as they both ate all their veggies. And that might have been the best pot roast Tyler'd ever tasted. He stood up, picking up dishes, limping as he carried them to the sink.

Rose's heart melted and her eyes went soft as she watched him. "You just go sit down. Billy will help me with the dishes after dessert," she told him, a hand on his back.

"I'm okay, baby. I wanna help. It only hurts a little." He didn't want to lose his manhood on top of everything else.

"Are you sure?" she asked before standing in front of him so that he blocked Billy's view of her. "I want you to save your energy for tonight..." she whispered, brow furrowed.

He grinned big at that. "Oh, I think I'll be fine for tonight." He leaned in, voice husky in her ear. "So long as yer on top a' me..."
