Personality: Mush seems to be the life of the party wherever he goes, but he's actually quite shy. Especially around members of the opposite sex. He gets very tongue-tied, nervous, and starts blushing profusely. Once he gets past the nervousness and embarrassment, however, Mush is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He can be forgetful and boastful at times, but he is quite a loyal friend. His sense of humor is very sarcastic, and he LOVES to tease his friends. Mush can also develop quite a bit of an attitude. This most likely stems from his impatience.
Hobbies and interests: Mush loves to exercise. Running, push ups, pull ups, sit ups... He didn't get that six pack from hawking headlines all day! He also loves to hang out with his friends (which most of the time include Kid Blink and Racetrack). Because of all the exercise, Mush is always hungry. He spends all of his extra money on food, and he never leaves his plate empty.
Bad habits, criminal record, etc: Because Mush loves to eat so much he tends to steal people's food when they aren't even finished. He sometimes remembers to ask, but not always. He's run from the bulls a few times for stealing food, but he's quick and manages to escape.

Background info (please include family as well): Mush lived with his grandparents in Philadelphia after his mother and father left him to move down South to break into the cotton industry. They said they would return for him after their farm made a profit, but apparently it never did. His grandparents died within two weeks of each other when he was only 12. Mush had heard wonderful things about New York City, that it was the place where dreams came true. So, his 12-year-old self used the last of the money in his grandparent's saving jar to buy a train ticket to NYC. He ran into a newsie (long gone by now) who introduced him to the life he now knows.
