Raven had no idea how she'd gotten talked into this. Probably because she had someone who could make her a beautiful gown that she could never otherwise afford. She had idea how different you could look when you had money, and boy did she look different. It had felt like a dream when she had finally been able to put on the burgundy silk gown. She couldn't stop fingering the delicate onyx beads lining her busom. She'd curled her hair from the occasion and pinned it back from her face.
She felt like a princess...no a queen. She had to thank Tara profusely.
She was nervous and excited all at once.

'holy shit,' Spot said when he caught sight of Raven, 'you look......amazing....other worldly.' he said, looking down slightly embarrassed how he tuned into a school boy the second he saw her.

'not everyone hates me around here,' he said, smirking. He wasn't used to this dressing up thing. Made him feel uncomfortable, at least he got to spend the evening looking at Rae.

"You look really handsome," She said with a smile. She paused for a second and then sighed. "This is ridiculous! You gonna dance with me or what Conlon?" She held out her hand to him.

Spot didnt dance and tensed up for a moment before remembering that dancing with her meant being pressed close to her, 'ya let's....just don't step on my feet,' he warned, cracking the tiniest of smiles

"Don't step on mine," She teased, surprised that he said yes so fast. She clasped her hand in his and let him lead her out to the dance floor. She was surprised by how nervous she was, her heart was beating fast.

Raven burst out laughing, "You're a pretty terrible dancer. Will you relax?" She curled her hand into his. She pressed her body close to him, resting her hand up by his neck. "Your hand goes on my back."

She smiled and moved even closer to him until there was no space left between them. Raven's cheek rested against Spot's and she sighed softly.
