She nodded, looking down at a sleeping Sean. "Jimmy says he won't leave me, and I believe 'im, ya know? I mean, we've only really had one fight, and it was my fault anyway, 'cause--well, I kinda cheated on him."

"And he stuck around?" Raven asked, she was surprised to say the least. "Well...you're lucky then." She smiled. Sean made little whistling noises as he breathed in and out, sleeping soundly.

She laughed softly, careful not to wake up Sean. "He yelled at me pretty good, though. Had to practically beg him to forgive me. He made me swear I wasn't ever gonna fuck anybody ever again."

She watched Sean sleep. "I feel bad...that I was so mad. I didn't want it. But now...do you think it knows? That I didn't want it, at first?"

Raven laughed, "No, I thought that at first too and was thinking that I could fling myself down the stairs or something. I know it's pretty terrible, but..." she shrugged.

Gypsy bit her lip, frowning. "Before I went to Jimmy's, before I told him...I went to that--that doctor. Ya know...the one on the East Side. I thought...I thought I could do it, and Jimmy would never have to know, and we could just go about our business." She licked her lips. "Sat there a long time, too."

Gypsy's eyes welled up. "I--I couldn't do it. I always thought that if I ever got knocked up, it wouldn't even be a question -- I'd just go and get it taken care of. But then I was there, and I kept thinkin' about what Jimmy would say, if he knew, and wonderin' what it would look like, or what name it oughta' have, and...and I couldn't do it."
