Her mother was very young and was forced to place her in an orphanage before she had to leave to move with her family out West. By the time Luna turned 14, she left the orphanage and pursued life on the streets and sold newspapers. She spent most of the time selling in pubs and later turned to drinking and eventually began working there to earn extra money and liquor.
