Zippy smiled, although it was more forced than she would have liked. She got dressed too, wondering what the hell she was going to wear tonight to meet David's family.

Once they were dressed, he led the way out of the attic, turning towards her. "You don't have to be nervous or anything, Zip." He kissed her forehead. "They know how much you mean to me."

"Dinner's at six." He kissed her mouth, nibbling on her bottom lip for a second. "I love you, Erin. I'll see you soon, okay?" He kissed her again, then shot her a grin and dashed off downstairs and home.
