Leo sighed and jabbed at his pasta. He didn't like this Spot Conlon. If it had been him, he would have married her and taken care of her.
"More wine?" he asked, holding up the bottle.

Leo poured her another glass. "You should bring Sean to the place I work. I assist a veterinarian , he might like to pet the dogs and cats that are brought in."

"He would probably love that," she smiled, "Though he actually has only met one cat and she tried to swat him do we'll have to see how he reacts." Raven took a sip of her wine, she was getting more and more comfortable.

Leo led her back to the main hall and immediately led her on the dance floor, taking her in his arms and beginning a simplified waltz.

Raven actually loved to dance and was fairly decent at it, she followed his lead easily, smiling the whole time. She knew that this would never blossom into something romantic and she was fine with that, but at least she'd made another good friend.

Leo wasn't thinking the same thing too. He pulled her close anyway. "Is your boyfriend going to kill me?" He whispered in her ear, half joking half serious.
