"I can come in," Goblin corrected after he thought about it a moment. "There's absolutely no reason for two of us to come at him. We only have one gun anyway. Right?" he added, realizing he didn't actually know what these crazy dames had.
Riddle shrugged. "I ain't got one." Surprisingly, she stayed quiet when Goblin cut her out of the plan.
Goblin, of course, didn't trust her silence for a moment, and eyed her suspiciously as they both followed Sammie.

"He's with Oswald right now," she continued, glancing at the two. She secretly wondered what went on with them before but refused to think about it. Why was she wondering about that in the first place?
"They've been... well, acquaintances ever since I remember. If something goes wrong, he goes to Oswald and hides out there until either things go back to normal or when he figures out what to do. I've never actually seen him."

"Well, hopefully he actually exists, and isn't just some name Eastman made up to cover for some top-secret hiding place," Goblin mused. He was finally, mercifully, going into plan mode--where he could get lost in the details, happily intrigued at the way all the pieces fit together, and not be a total emotional mess anymore.
"If he gave Sammie an address, there must be something there," Riddle said quietly. "He trusted her for years, so he had no reason to set a trap for her. You know, he's never actually seen you...maybe Sammie can convince him you're there to help, buy you more time, so you'll be able to get so close he doesn't know what hit him..." As she spoke, she got a faraway look in her eyes. She was in plan mode too. She and Goblin didn't even glance at each other, but it was almost like they were sharing some kind of magical experience that no one else could quite understand.

"She's got a point," agreed Sammie, raising an eyebrow at the two as they stared off into space. "I can say you're one of the little suck ups that always wanted to get in the gang and now's your chance... somethin' like that. It'll give you an opportunity to follow him around enough so you can get him alone."

Goblin was practically in a trance at this point, so he just nodded calmly. Then he shook himself a little and glanced at her. "You got some kind of escape route planned? Because people who help me don't have very good track records. And somehow, even though they agreed to the whole plan beforehand, they always end up blaming me." And of course, I blame myself too. Not that he really expected to survive this, so blame wouldn't be much of an issue. But he wasn't going to come out and admit that.

Sammie looked down at her feet thoughtfully. "I'll look for an escape route once you get his attention. I'll slip away and come back to get you," she said, hoping that was the right answer. Honestly, she really didn't know.

"You don't have to come back," he said, then realized how that sounded. "I'll get out on my own. We're gonna plan this out more thoroughly once we get there. We'll watch the place tonight, get a feel for it, figure out how many friends he keeps close and how to get rid of them. Then we'll find somewhere to stay and move on him tomorrow night."
Well, this was starting to feel awfully familiar. Much like the last murder he'd directly assisted with. Except that they'd lured that victim off to a secluded alley, not tried to attack him in his own home. And there had been five of them, not three. And, oh yeah, he'd still ended up getting caught.
Yes, Goblin decided, he was definitely going to die.
((Off to bed, but I am SO excited for this! ;D))

((Best place to stop! Gnight! <3))
Sammie couldn't help but look at him in surprise. He definitely knew what he was doing. Now, she can believe that it was him that brought Eastman and his gang down. She wondered what it was that he did to make him seek revenge like this. Then again, Eastman can easily cause anyone to seek revenge. She knew that well enough.
She led them towards an alley, stopping once they were near enough to see a big looming house. "That's where he is. He always met me outside and I was never let in," she said, suddenly doubting this scheme. What was she doing trusting these people, anyway?

He glanced at her, reading her expression automatically, and smirked a little. "Don't worry, Samantha. If any of us are gonna survive this, you will."
"Speak for yourself," Riddle said with a snort. "I'm not even doing anything, so I'll clearly be the last one standing." But she didn't sound terribly confident about that.
Goblin ignored her and took a seat on the ground near the mouth of the alley. They were going to be here a good while, watching the house and perfecting their plan, so unless anyone was planning to start a game of Twenty Questions or launch into their life story, it was going to be a long few hours.

((They should totally play 20 questions!!!))
Sammie quirked an eyebrow at him once she heard his comment, shrugged it off and took a seat right next to him. This was definitely going to be a long night.
"What'd Eastman do to you?" said Sammie directly, looking at Goblin. She was genuinely interested and curious as to what started off this whole thing. He had the brains for it but where did the motivation come from?

Goblin gave her a surprised and uncomfortable look. "Not to me..." He glanced at Riddle. "You didn't tell her?"
After their various adventures, Riddle couldn't really remember what all she'd told Sammie. "His girl was in the Refuge...not me, the second one, the nice one..." She rolled her eyes. "And McArthur had her sent to Heather Mae's. And...you know how Eastman works..." She trailed off, being uncharacteristically delicate.
"I wouldn't've bothered with Eastman otherwise," Goblin muttered. "The gang's already scattered, and the Refuge is already going down. This is just for Maggie."

Oh yeah, it was for a girl. Sammie recalled hearing that before. The past couple days were such a blur that she was having trouble keeping track of what she'd learned. "Yeah, I know how Eastman works," she repeated, sighing.

((I can't describe the mess that my Internet is in right now. I have a feeling I'll be posting from the library again soon.)) Goblin concentrated on the house for a while, noticing a couple of men who came and went and memorizing their habits. He looked over all the entrances and scanned the grounds, calculating the best ways to get in and out, the best places to hide if necessary. Beside him, he could see Riddle doing the same thing. But after a while, even he couldn't take the silence anymore. "Been to see your family at all, Riddle?" he asked out of the blue. Riddle scowled at him. "I'm wanted for murder. Whadda you think?" After a moment, she muttered, "I met a girl who knows 'em, though. Sounds like they're doing fine." Well, Joseph wouldn't be fine for long, but no need to go into that. "How 'bout you, Sammie? You got any family?" she demanded, eager for a subject change.
