Adri bit her lip and smiled up at him. "We said we'd try it out, right? Go on a date? Eli, you know I wouldn't do this unless I felt the same way about you," she said reassuringly, pushing away the butterflies in her stomach. She hoped he understood that she didn't want to be just friends.
