She nodded, face concerned. "It's okay. We'll go back to your apartment. I'll get ya soup or somethin' while you take a nap. We shouldn't a' gone out if you couldn't handle it, baby. You didn't need to do all this for me."

"It's okay, I'm fine. We are passing the LH anyway," he told her, taking her hand. "I just...should really be resting now." His head was starting to hurt again.

"Then stay at the House for a bit. Come on." She led him to it, and guided him upstairs to the infirmary. "Lay down. Lemme get you water."

She brought him back a glass of water, handing it to him, helping him drink. She set the glass down on a nightstand, then moved to soak a washcloth in the washbasin, bring it back to put on his forehead. "I'm here, baby, I'll take care a' you, I promise."

"Just rest here a while and I'll take you home." She bit her lip, guilty that she was the one that caused his fall, and upset that he wouldn't just shut up and let her take care of him.

Trixie sighed, perching on the edge of the bed, dabbing the cool washcloth on his forehead. She hummed soothingly, feeling helpless and responsible for his pain.

She smoothed her hand over his hair. "I told ya not to, baby. You're too hurt." She leaned down to kiss his forehead. "I'm sorry I made ya get hurt, Eli, I really am."
