"You got it. I'll drive, then bring you back to your car." He led the way, tossing his two bags into the trunk, then holding the passenger door open for her.

"Aw thanks," she smiled, getting into the passenger seat and putting on her seat belt. "So, what's new with you? Other than getting drinks with Alec, 'course."

He chuckled, pulling out of the lot and driving down the street. "Not much else. Work's going good, hoping they promote me by spring. Sushi sound okay?"

"I haven't had sushi in forever! Yeah, let's!" she grinned excitedly. "Promotion, huh? You've got it in the bag, I don't know anyone else who works as hard as you do."

Ben blushed a little, driving to his favorite sushi restaurant. "Well, I don't know about all that..."

"For as long as I've known you, you've never missed a day of school or work! And if it weren't for Alec, I'm sure you would've been president of five different clubs in college," she teased, remembering how often Ben had to persuade Alec to do his work.

Ben laughed. "Well, being treasurer of the frat was enough for me. Alec made a better president than I ever could." He parked the car, moving to get out and open her door for her.
