((Night!))
He sighed, glancing at her. "I just missed ya is all, Rosie. Ya get me all twisted up inside."

Rose scrambled over to the window, pressing her face against it. "Hey, I think I see New York," she said, biting her lip to suppress a girlish smile. She hadn't been out of the city for over two years; it was actually kind of nice to leave and come back all in the same day.

He sighed, feeling achey and a little annoyed his, ahem, needs were being ignored. "We'll be at the station in probably fifteen or twenty minutes."

She just nodded, her eyes still glued to the window. Or rather, the scenes outside the window. It was different seeing New York from a distance and actually living in it. It looked far more exciting on the outside, Rose thought.
She spent the rest of the train ride enraptured with the scenery, hardly even glancing at Tyler. Not really on purpose, though. She just remembered how much she loved riding on trains.

By this time, Tyler was nearly pouting. He'd traveled halfway down the damn Eastern seaboard to rescue her, and Rose had barely even kissed him!
When they finally pulled into the station, he was more than ready to get off that damn train.

When they were almost to the House, Rose stopped. "Oh, my shoe's untied," she said, just loud enough for Tyler to hear. She crouched down, mimicking the actions of tying her shoes. But really she was gathering up some snow in her hands. When she stood back up, she threw the snowball right in his face, laughing.

Tyler blinked, caught off guard, and stared at her, wiping snow from his face. Then he smirked and scooped her up, tossing her over his shoulder. "Now looky here, missy. That was uncalled for."

"But it made you stop pouting..." she pointed out, laughing some more.

He snorted and gave her butt a swat as he carried her into the House. "I wasn't poutin'."

Of course he had been. But her snowball had made him smile, and she pretty sure this would, too...
"Hey, Ty? I was thinking about something..." she said from over his shoulder.

He carried her into the House and straight upstairs. "Hm?"

"Well..." she began. "Since my grandma is going to be out of town for at least a week, probably two, I just think we should take it upon ourselves to...y'know...look after the house for her. Water the fake plants, feed the cat she doesn't have, eat all her food before it goes bad..." She tried to speak casually, but her heart was racing.

He stopped halfway up the stairs, then turned right around and carried back out the house. "Is there a bed? A big one? I need space to make love to ya."

She promptly blushed, though she was glad he'd taken to the idea so quickly. "Well, there's one in my bedroom...it's bigger than the beds here, anyways. And a lot warmer."

"Good. All I need." He didn't set her down until they were halfway there, and only because they were getting strange looks.
