((No worries! Night!!))
Maggie cried out again, bending forward as another pain, the hardest yet, struck her. "Clara!" She cried out again, sobbing, wracked with pain. This couldn't be happening. She wanted this baby. She wanted to be with Michael. She wanted to be happy.
She prayed as hard as she could that Michael would come back soon, hopefully with a doctor in tow.

Skittery burst back into the house with a doctor in tow; he had explained the situation in a hurry to him, almost crying as he did so, and the doctor took pity on him.
At first, Skittery waited by the door, unsure as to whether or not Maggie wanted him with her.

Almost sobbing with relief, Wraith quickly slid off the bed, though she still held onto Maggie's hand, and looked up at the doctor with wide, desperate eyes. "She's--she's bleeding...and she's in pain..." He could help her, right? He had to help her.

By this time, Maggie was next to delirious, between the pain, blood and worry. She whispered Michael's name, searching for him, even as the doctor shifted her to bend her knees up, ripping off her skirt and grabbing a sheet off another bed to cover her lower half.
The doctor barked at Wraith to bring hot water and towels, then tried to calm Maggie down when she had another pain attack.

Skittery immediately went to her side, opposite the doctor, and held her hand. He murmured under his breath, kissing her hair and stroking her curls with his free hand. He knew none of that probably helped, but he didn't know what else to do.

Maggie clutched his hand, voice quiet and shaky. "Mike...Mike, I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."
The doctor hushed her, told her to relax, then look at Skittery. "Her body needs to expel the fetus." Just like that. Simple, curt. 'Needs to expel the fetus.'

Skittery's heart stopped. "Excuse me?"

The doctor glanced at him again, even as Maggie bared down through another contraction. "I'm afraid she's miscarrying. I'm sorry." And then he turned his attention back to Maggie.

His grip on Maggie's hand loosened. "She...she's losing the baby?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The doctor glanced at him again, nodding. "She's already lost it. Her body's trying to get rid of it."
Maggie cried out again, her body contracting and pushing as though she were in labor.

Right then, Skittery decided not to let that sink in. Maggie was in immense pain, and she needed him. So he held onto her hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing it.

Wraith had squeezed Script's hand and flown from the room the second the doctor gave her an errand. She dashed to the kitchen, lit the stove, and put on a pot of water. As soon as she thought it was hot enough, she wrapped her hands in a bunch of towels, picked up the pot, and hurried back to the infirmary as fast as she could without spilling any.
When she walked back in, her stomach clenched. Maggie looked twice as bad as she had when Wraith left, and the doctor and Skittery both looked so grim.

The doctor took one of the towels soaking it in the water before wringing it out and wiping down Maggie's legs. "It's almost over. Push, dear, you need to push again."
Maggie was pale, and sobbing hysterically. When another contraction hit, her body pushed of its own volition and she screamed.
And then the pain was gone, and the doctor wrapped something in the towel he was holding. He checked to see that she'd stopped bleeding, then cleaned her up. He sighed. "She's lost blood and she's tired. She'll need sleep."
