((Haha, we have a few good delis out here, but Brent's is my favorite. It just sucks 'cause it's kinda pricey. Major bummer when you're on a budget. BUT SO GOOD. The boy likes Canter's and there's one at Treasure Island in Vegas, and that's where we always stay, so it's basically all we eat when we're there.))
David blinked at her, surprised. "Luke and Charlotte? But...haven't they only known each other a couple of months??"

((Well, we haven't gone since last April for our anniversary, since money's been tight, but it's so close to L.A. and you can get good rooms on Priceline for pretty cheap. We don't really do the Vegas-y things -- just somewhere nice to get away))

((ah right. I drove from LA to Vegas with my ex. Very doable. My ex goes to USC but we broke up awhile ago so I haven't been to LA since then))
"he's totally thrilled for Luke. Kinda bummed, but he has Trixie so I think he's fine," zippy explained. "and it was different for us," she pointed out. "we are so young."

David cleared his throat nervously, looking down at the table top, playing with a napkin. "A while ago, when you were still on those pills...you asked me to, uh, do something to you...and of course I didn't, 'cause you weren't well, and I'd never done it before, anyway, but now...I'd like to, uh...try?"
