"Berkeley. I majored in English. What about you?" She tilted her head, sipping from the glass of water on the table.
Tyler grinned. She was taking a bath while she was on the phone with him. Sweet. He got up, taking a quick shower and changing into clean jeans and a tshirt. Then he set out to pick the apartment up.

"Vanderbilt," he replied, briefly meeting her eyes. They were chocolate brown and completely dazzling. He felt some air escape from his lungs as her gaze penetrated straight through him. "Majored in art."
Rose basically wore her pajamas; an over sized t-shirt and some yoga pants. She had no need to impress Tyler with her style. About an hour after they'd gotten off the phone, she stood at his door, knocking.

Maggie's smile brightened. "Art? Really? Rose told me you were in advertising. Do you like it?" He really was cute, and smart, too.
He opened the door, flashing her a smile. "Hi, Sugar." He let her in, admiring her. "Already ordered the pizza. It oughta be here soon."

"Depends on how you define 'like'..." Michael replied, chuckling. "Do I find it crazy stressful but intensely rewarding, definitely. There's just a lot of pressure. I design a lot of the ads, see, and it's just nerve-wracking trying to come up with something that people will look at and connect with and remember..." He was babbling.
Rose set her purse on the counter, trying to ignore the feeling his eyes on her created. "So, what're we watching?"

Maggie smiled at him as she glanced over her menu. "Done anything I'd know?" He was sweet when he babbled. She liked that he was apparently just as nervous as she was.
"Figured you could pick." He gestured at the DVD tower next to the TV. "What're ya in the mood for?"

"That new print ad for Colgate toothpaste? The retro looking one? Apparently it was in the newest issue of People magazine, but that's just what my mom told me..." He chuckled, embarrassed. Maggie seemed too sophisticated to read such a thing.
Rose pursed her lips, perusing the DVDs with a critical eye. "Jurassic Park sounds good..."

She grinned at him. "No way! That was yours? It's really cute, and I don't even use Colgate." She giggled a little, then blushed.
"'Oo, clever girl'" he quoted, in a terrible Australian accent. He grinned, swiping the DVD from her and popping it into the player. "Sounds good. Have a seat, get comfy."
((Brb, I'm gonna go down to the lobby and grab something to eat.))

((YEAH RIGHT TYLER. I know you were BORN to do an Australian accent. You're not fooling anyone!!! And okay about the brb thing )) "Yep, that's my baby," he replied, blushing a little, too. Did he really just call that ad his 'baby'? Really? Thankfully, the waiter came to take their orders. Michael looked over at Maggie, waiting for her to order first. Rose tucked a leg underneath her as she sat on the couch, looking around for a cozy blanket. "Really?" she asked, disappointed. "You don't have any blankets?"

((Hahaha!!))
Maggie giggled again, then ordered the salmon, handing the waiter her menu, then blushing when he winked at her.
Tyler snorted. "Sweetheart, this is a house of men." But he caught up and brought her one from the linen closet. "Gotta share with me, though."

Michael tried not to notice the wink, and he tried not to notice the cute little giggle with which Maggie responded to the wink. "I'll have the filet mignon sandwich. And...can I get a side of pickles instead of fries?" That always weirded girls out, but he didn't care for french fries. He just wanted some pickles.
Rose eyed his suspiciously. "How can you get cold? You've got about 500 pounds of muscle to keep you warm. I have nothing."

Maggie looked at him with wide eyes and made a little 'oo' shape with her mouth. "Ooh, can I snag one? I love pickles."
He smirked at her. "500 pounds? Really? I look that damn huge to you?" He sat next to her, draping the blanket over his legs.

"Er, yeah...Sure!" Michael replied, a bit taken off guard by her reaction. Maybe this wouldn't be an awful night after all...
Rose scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Shut up, it was an exaggeration. You're like, what? 260? 265?"

She blushed again. "Sorry. Irish and Italian. We don't have a big problem with sharing food."
Tyler smirked. "Yeah, about. Why? Checkin' me out, there, Rosie?"

"No, no, it's fine! It's just...not everyone takes so kindly to my ordering pickles instead of french fries. It's nice to not be looked at like I'm a freak for a change," he said, letting out a relieved sigh-chuckle.
"You wish," Rose replied, even though it was extremely juvenile of her. Thankfully, she was saved by the bell. "Pizza's here, go get it."

Maggie smiled at him. "I just never thought to do it. You're basically a genius."
Tyler smirked. He would break her down if it was the last thing he did. He got up, answering the door and paying the pizza guy. He brought it back to the coffee table, along with plates, napkins, and a couple cans of soda.
