"Yes, but it is a lot farther from both my jobs." Leo explained, as the bartender struck up conversation with Leo in Spanish as he handed them the margaritas. Leo gave Lana hers and politely replied.

Lana quietly took a sip from her margarita as she watched Leo and the bartender talk. She couldn't help but wish she could understand what they were saying. She couldn't help but wish that she had a neighborhood like this to visit to make her feel more at home.

Lana smirked and quietly took another sip of her drink. She was going to leave him in suspense, at least for a second. "Well... You can tell him," she began before pausing to take another sip. "You can tell him that... You are."

"You did?" Lana asked with a laugh before quickly stealing another kiss. She let out a laugh and lightly swatted at his arm. "You tricked me, Leo! You are lucky you are sweet."

((the only thing I can really think of is either her brother coming in to cause problems, leading to her venturing out on her own anyway, or someone else pops in to stir things up))
