He smirked, then left. He went back to the House and packed his bag. He left a note, in case any of the guys cared about what happened to him, then headed back to Vera's.

Rose was still packing, so Vera let him in. She handed him two train tickets to Louisville, plus an envelope with some cash in it. "Just make sure you save some for the ride back."
