Now, while I love my storyline versions of my characters, I kind of want to play around in the AU universe for a bit. I just don't quite know *exactly* how my characters would transition into the modern world. I have a bit of an idea, but nothing concrete. Anyway, this is what I've got... Let me know if any of you are interested/has any other ideas/etc. I'm seriously open to anything!
Pasha - I'm fairly certain he'd fit in well with the NY/NJ "douchebag" set. I'd call them guidos, buuut he'd be more in with the Brighton Beach guys -- if you've seen Lifetime's "Russian Dolls," you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Russian guidos.
Svetlana - Probably goes by Lani (which may have even morphed into Laney over time, considering the way friends typically go with their nicknames) but she's definitely more of a sarcastic, nerdy-type girl. Awesome sense of humor.
Nate - Still awkward! Poor guy is never going to be not awkward, as long as Reeve Carney is his PB. Guitarist, specializing in blues, but also plays classic rock. Quite unlucky in love, but not ready to give up on it just yet.
Firecracker - Umm, I have honestly NO idea how Leesh would transform into the modern world, actually. Yeah. I really don't know. I haven't really thought much about her lately. The last modern version of her was a complete bitch and absolutely horrible person, so I think that's why I'm having a hard time with her. I'll think of something, eventually, I suppose.
But, yeah... I kind of want to try my hand at AU.
