"Remedial dance?" Nate asked, his forehead wrinkling. "Kind of like remedial math or remedial English?" He paused and let out a slight chuckle. "Does a remedial dance class even exist?" He exhaled slowly, realizing that maybe his laughter was a little inappropriate. "Well... think about it... Britney Spears still has a dancing career, right? And she's messed up all different kinds of things, last I remember."

"Britney shakes her ass for a living, she doesn't dance." Raven said with a scoff. "I just mean easy classes at a community college or something. Not exactlty what I had in mind for the rest of my life." She smirked at him.

"Yeah, but her first video, oh man..." Nate teased, his smirk growing. He shrugged and let his hands come to rest on his knees again. "Point is... if she can still make a career out of whatever that is she does, I don't think you have anything to worry about."

"Well.. I tried," Nate said with a slight shrug. "I can't always be on point with my pick-me-ups." He smiled over at her and slowly rose to his feet. "It's almost time for the next class."

"Might be a good idea," he agreed, laughing as he carefully rose to his feet. He leaned down, extending his hands to her to help her up. "What class are you going to next?"

"Avoid it like the plague," Nate reminded her with a laugh. "I didn't think it would be so bad when I registered for it... but I was wrong. That class is nothing like I thought it would be."

"I guess so, yeah..." Nate agreed. Reluctantly, he took a step closer to the exit. "So, umm... If you ever want to find me or something, my locker is 215. It's upstairs."

Raven nodded and then hurried off to her class.
Around lunchtime Raven stood off to the side as she watched all of the kids scurrying to get seats at the lunch tables or to get their coats so they could go out to eat. She decided that she would find Nate, so far he'd been the only person who talked to her.
She stood by his locker and waited.

Nate rushed out of his class and immediately headed for his locker. Lunch time, by far, was the best part of the day. A grin came across his face when he noticed that Rae was waiting for him.
"Miss me already?" he asked playfully before opening his locker.
