"Aww, but eating alone is fun," Nate teased, flashing her a quick grin. He opened his locker, grabbed his jacket, and shut the door again. "So, you wanna stay here for lunch, or do you wanna go out?"

"Well, then we're going out," Nate decided with a smirk. He motioned for Rae to follow him as he headed down the hallway. "There's this amazing diner a few blocks North. Great burgers."

Nate hurried down the hallway to the stairwell before finally exiting the building. Damn, it felt good to be outside! "They've got all kinds of stuff," he continued as he led her down the sidewalk. "Wraps, salads. A little somethin' for everyone -- and it's all great."
