Trixie was finally 9 months pregnant and -- according to her -- was the size of a goddamn house. She didn't so much walk as waddle, and when she came towards youl, all you saw was belly. It made her miserable, especially because it was the middle of summer in New York.
She was sitting on the couch with her feet propped up on the coffee table, already in her shift, waiting for Eli to come home.

Eli had gone out on a business lunch with a few other New York playwrights and was in a great mood after all the theater gossip and brainstorming.
"Hey Kitten," he greeted as he walked in. "Brought you a turkey sandwich." he hand it to her and kissed her on her head.
