"They?" Flynn frowned. "Our puppies?" He looked at Raven for a long moment. "Damn, you're so beautiful. Can I sketch you as a nude mermaid?"
"Teacher?" Sapphy smiled. "That's one of my many back-up plans for when I turn my ankle or my legs finally give out. I'd teach kindergarten. What level or class do you want to teach?"

"A nude mermaid? Sure babe, when we get home," She rolled her eyes and then grabbed his face, turning it to face Sapphy and Tony. "Them...not our puppies, our two friends."
"Yea? See they're cute but I don't think I'd be good with little kids," He shrugged. "High school history, so teenagers. I know I'm setting myself up for years of short jokes and torture."

"I remember high school being the teachers talking a lot and the students refusing to talk. That sounds even worse," Sapphy laughed. "How awkward! You ask a question and are only met with..." Sapphy just looked up at Tony with a blank, bored expression on her face.
"Yeah... Yeah..." Flynn agreed eagerly. "Tony should totally do her."

Tony started laughing, "Exactly and I actually want to teach the kids who are all failing and have probably been arrested so I'll probably get" He blank stared at her, "Yo teach this is wack."
"Oh god," Raven laughed and patted his arm.

"O Captain, my Captain?" Sapphy arched an eyebrow. "How ambitious."
Flynn sobered up enough to stop cracking jokes. He only ever had the courage to say them in front of Raven anyway.
"So," he put his chin on her shoulder. "How're rehearsals going?"

"Yep..." Tony blew on his knuckles and gave his jacket collar a rub. "I try."
Raven took another sip of champagne and sighed, she let him wrap his arms around her waist. She gave a slight shrug. "They're okay...I mean I sit around a lot..."

"I bet you sit the prettiest," Flynn said, rubbing her hip sympathetically.
Sapphy tried not to snort -- she was very giggly with the champagne, yes, and Tony was so cute. But she snorted anyway. She covered her mouth, blushing and laughing more fully.

"I damn well do," Raven said with a nod of her head and looked back at him. She managed a smile, "Hey if I never make it at least I still have my three year olds."
"You just...you," Tony said and then started laughing, "That was adorable."

Sapphy only turned redder -- she was so pale that she blushed very easily and truthfully, she hated it. It was like showing everyone her hand in cards. She got a second glass of champagne.
Oddly, Sapphy could down half a bottle of whiskey and still walk the line. But when it came to wine and champagne, she just got a little silly.
"...You're a good teacher," Flynn smiled into her skin. For a moment, he'd been confused about the mention of children before it all clicked and he remembered. His heart beat a little faster.

Tony still chuckled, she was cute...really cute actually. He knew Rae had planned this from the start and he was gonna give her a piece of his mind later, but he was happy she did plan it. Tony kind of liked this girl. He turned a little pink too.
"Thanks babe," Raven said and turned around to face Flynn, looping her arms around his neck.

Flynn sighed as he hugged her back. He twirled them around to get a full view of his exhibit. "Work, work, work," he mumbled, as if exhausted by this display.
Sapphy couldn't look at Tony in the eye for a moment as she sipped her glass. She didn't know what to say! So I've been locking myself in my dorm for the past nine weekends watching Barbra Streisand movies. Yeah, right...

"I know so boring..." Raven said, completely sarcastic in her tone. "Who would want your job?"
"Hey...so I think next week I'm gonna be having people over for a taco and movie night, it's a tradition, but anyway, Uh...you wanna come?" Tony asked a little skeptical. "Rae'll give you my address and stuff."

"Maybe you should just help me make 'em then?" Tony said leaning closer to her, a smug grin on his face.
"Tell me about it...and your career isn't over at 40," Raven commented. She sighed heavily, yes it was still bothering her that she was cast as bluebird, but there was nothing she could do about it. At least she wasn't stuck in the back in a pose waving a wand.
