"N-not like that!" Wraith stuttered, blushing. "I mean...she's just a friend." And will remain so as long as she's in love with your wife. That was one awkward conversation that she and Tristan would never be having.
At the brief news about Kennedy, she just nodded, then followed along behind him in silence for a while. The afternoon shadows were starting to lengthen, and her nerves were getting worse. She told herself repeatedly that they would not be too late.

"Sure," He smirked at her and then shook his head. "You just turned the color of a ripe tomato. You like her."

The blush deepened. It was still kind of weird to her that other people knew she liked girls, even though Tristan and the bathtub incident was ages ago, or seemed like it. "Maybe," she finally muttered, "but she likes someone else."

"Damn...sorry," He said, "That's hard. It's happened to me a few times...though I usually won out in the end, using my boyish charm." He smiled at her and then nudged her shoulder with his own. "It'll work out if its supposed to."

She had to laugh at that. "I think it's safe to say you've had a lot more luck with girls than I have. But thanks." She looked around anxiously. "Is it much farther?"

"I've had way too much luck with girls. I have three kids, three." He made sure to emphasize three. "Yeah, once we're over the bridge it's ten minutes more."

"At least I don't have to worry about that," she mused, ignoring the usual twinge of regret. She actually missed Tristan's kids. "Let me know if you ever need me to baby-sit. If, uh...if Kenny's not around much." She stepped off the bridge and thought ahead, to after they rescued Script. She'd have to go straight over to the Refuge and make a jailbreak. What a night.

"I will don't worry," He shoved his hands in his pockets then and made a sharp right turn. They had arrived in the points, he could tell by the smell.

Wraith melted into the shadows. It was an automatic reaction to the new atmosphere she felt as soon as they crossed the intersection. An atmosphere of watchful, hostile eyes, of danger around every corner...and of course, there was the smell. She moved along silently, taking advantage of every piece of cover, from trash cans to lamp-posts to the shadows of buildings. Anyone on the street would probably have seen Tristan walking alone.

((LMAO and nobody is going to mess with Tristan Shamien because he is BADASS))
Tristan stopped walking a few blocks later and whistled. He looked up at the three story building. "Here we are."

((Together, they could effectively take over the world.))
Wraith appeared out of nowhere, gulping as she looked at the building. "Got it. Just tell me where to go."

She vanished around the side of the building almost as soon as the words were out of his mouth. Getting up there and getting seen were not even concerns for her. She just hoped that Script would appear at that window very, very soon.

Tristan went inside and then took a deep breath.
"Well look at what the cat dragged in," Heather purred from her place at bottom of the stairs.
"Heya Heather," he said with a smirk. "You got any fresh blood for me?"
She grinned, "might be that I do."
