"Course you can," The midwife said with a huge smile. She brought Nevada's baby girl over to her and settled her nice and snuggly in her arms.
"Look at the red hair..."
Raven walked over to the bed and was smiling. "Oh my god, Tristan is going to melt...if he ever shows up."

Nevada looked at the baby in her arms and started crying, 'Lucy....my Lucy,' she said, smiling up at Rae. When she heard her mention Tristan she frowned, 'I'm murdering him when I see him.'

Nevada pushed thoughts of Tristan away in order to soak in the love she felt for her child. 'Lucy Shamien,' she said, smiling, 'she's beautiful!' Nevada said, looking up to Rae and smiling. 'I feel completely lost and scared already though.'

'happy birthday,' Nevada repeated. She looked up and listened as the midwife explained how to breastfeed and other such things and couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Where the fuck was Tristan?!

'thanks,' Nevada said softly. She looked out and saw Mikey peeking into the bedroom, 'come here....come meet your sister,' she said to Mikey.

Mikey toddled inside and looked up at the bed. Raven bent down and picked him up to put him on the bed beside Nevada.
"Hi." Mikey said smiling. He looked at Nevada.

Nevada put her arm around Mikey, 'Mikey this is lucy,' she said smiling, 'you gotta look out for her okay?' Nevada looked up as she heard a knock on the door, 'Rae would you mind?'

Nevada strained to hear and groaned when she heard the person say they came from the hospital where Tristan was. Nevada swore her heart stopped for a minute but it came back when she heard him say Tristan was there because of a boxing match.

Nevada stopped listening to the conversation and tried her hand at breastfeeding. It was nice having something else to concentrate on.
The person who came from Alex told Rae Tristan had been knocked out real bad but was awake at the moment. He promised he would tell Tristan about being a father in the gentlest way possible before leaving.

Raven went back into the room. "So your husband got knocked out in the ring...but he's fine and awake at the moment. Talking coherantly too which they was worried about."
