Nevada tried not to let the excitement on her face show. She couldn't help it, it HAD been too long and all she wanted to do in that moment was fuck him. She wouldn't say that though.

Wraith looked over her shoulder and smiled her thanks at Tristan, though Tristan was always nice to her; it was Nevada's approval she was really trying for. She offered up the finished vegetables. "Anything I can do, just say the word."

"Maybe next time," Wraith said with a smile, making a mental list of skills she needed to brush up on. She drifted into the living room to wiggle Lucy's little hand and whisper some silly nonsense to her, because really, how could you not?

Nevada couldn't help feeling nervous. Seeing people hold her child for the first time always sent a jolt of nervousness through her. She looked over at Tristan for some sort of reassurance.

((Haha, it definitely will, Sapph! I always kind of assume that Wraith and Kennedy are having random sexy times on a regular basis, but if she's supposed to be not around, Wraith will certainly notice. ^_^))
Wraith pretty much shared Nevada's fears that she would break the baby, but she gingerly lifted Lucy out of Tristan's arms--supporting her head and her butt, that was important, right?--and cradled her against her shoulder. The feeling it gave her was kind of amazing. And terrified.

"I-I know...but she's so little..." She made a conscious effort to relax. The baby snuggled against her shoulder and grabbed at her nose. Wraith laughed and found herself relaxing for real. This wasn't so bad.
